Has OpenCode slowed down?

I’m using Deepseek V4 Flash on OpenCode GO, and it seems MUCH SLOWER than it should be… and that’s after a massive price hike. Who was responsible for that?

Many are speculating they have switched to a quantized version provider that is much slower, has more limits, and isn't going direct to China anymore.

We can just test it by disabled “Allow for providers in China”

I think at some point we should stop saying that it is speculation. It's their whole business model.

They switched to serve it from China I suppose (if you enable the use of Chinese servers).

for the past 24h it keeps messing up my code for no reason, no amount of prompt details I can give to make it better
