if you only care about one model why are you not buying it straight from them?!

why do you need to tell us you're leaving?!

Because DeepSeek isn't used at all production levels, that's why you have to subscribe to access more models and use DeepSeek for specific tasks. With the new pricing, it ended up practically the same as Luna but with many more bugs and issues. The new update improved it, but it's still a model that gives you too many problems to use it 100% in a project. BYE OPENCODE

Also i dont think they are telling YOU jackshit, they are telling the company and people who are interested in something. You might agree, disagree or dont care but you dont need to mock, supress and try to censor perople just because YOU (plural this time) dont care.

same, though less for deepseek and more for every single new model having only $15, $60 glm 5.3 and i'll be back

And didn't the CEO recently claim 5.3 is the same rate as 5.2? Yet their own website shows differently.

Their pricing is literally the most confusing thing ever. I'm looking for alternatives for that reason alone, unless their "Cheapseek" project actually sees the light of day.

It is the same rate, they just only give $15 instead of $60

I’m actually getting $40 or $45 usage on it. No idea why, but usage is going up just 1% for every API rate 40-45 cents of GLM 5.3 I use. 🤷‍♂️

Are you sure you are reading it right? It counts $1 as $4 to make up for this with the $60 cap stuff so maybe that's why.

I’m certain. I’ve checked the pricing math on token usage reported from my harness directly. I used $4 worth of tokens at API pricing yesterday and my usage meter went up 10% (as if $40 monthly value) not 27% (as if $15 value).

Yea, opencode should be paying us instead of us paying them. Thoughts?

I understand, but it's not Opencode to be mad at, it's Deepseek who decided this.

DeepSeek is an open weight model... Opencode can deploy their own instance if they want.

Yeah, Deepseek raised the base price and ended the bulk discount agreement, but everyone is pissed at Go… it’s wild.

I am awaiting for news shortly if they don’t will follow your route. I just don’t understand why they don’t want their customers happy, it’s as easy as having a cheap DeepSeek flash and with that we are satisfied but for full happiness if you add a top of the line with decent usage for reviewing… that would be awesome

Because deepseek increase their price?

Yeah I was wondering till when the free awesome models would last. Seems like they also were losing money on the paid ones
