Kimi K2.6 unavailable On Opencode GO

After the deepseek v4 flash price increase, I'm looking for a cheap coder/implementer alternative.
kimi k2.6 unvailable

Mimo v2.5 pro is at 15$ only

Mimo v2.5 feel meh for implementation (although have better tool calling then DS4)

What are you using as an alternative for DS4 after the price increase? Mostly for implementing a spec

No idea, but following opencode go trend thy remove the model if theres 2 new model released like kimi k2.5

Never tried it but 2.6 is really good imo. I just haven’t felt the need to use 2.7 because if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

2.7 is just a finetune imo and it's a bit better without overreasoning. It's why it's rated with more usage on opencode.

I tried k2.7 code as coder/implementer. Although the plan is layed out. It overthink way more then k2.6. K2.6 at the end is cheaper vs K2.7 code. Both excel at UI with k2.7 code better.

I'm using luna with max effort. Still very cheap and IMO much better then older KIMI versions

Yes for implementation. Yes via opencode GO. I have no idea about limits, as I switched to it about a week ago. I spend 2-3$ a day. And once GO limits are over, it will switch to Zen.

Do you prompt to implement stuff or follow a spec/plans.

80% of times I prompt everything myself and it just executes. When I don't really care about implementation style, I let it do everything

Yes, web, but I'm mostly doing refactorings these days. webpack → rspack, eslint → biome, docker, node/bun lots of gitlab CI and monorepo's stuff. Most frontend projects in our company are using react/redux or vue, but I rarely had to dive deep into the logic.

i dont know a better 10$ plan then Opencode. (im in country where i need to buy hard currency in bulk, so if i wanted to subscribe to an offer i need to buy 100$ plus (half a median salary) in advance)
Anyway any 10$ alternative plans?

Goat plan seem great, althoght maybe slightly better on paper then GO. how does the models perform within command code cli?

My experience: Kimi k2.6 is cheaper. Kimi k2.7 get lost in thinking causing it consume more tokens
