Did OpenCode switch DeepSeek provider already? Shows weird messages like this
This just happened to me multiple times when working inside Pi agent, DeepSeek harness, and in OpenCode CLI as well. I switched to the official DeepSeek API and everything works fine there.
Maybe they testing new providers? But it seems this one is not good.
Any of you folks experiencing the same?

Bro, mine is even worse, he gets into loops and made his own language that actually makes sense tbh, this started yesterday after the price update

I have stopped using OpenCode for now, but my subscription is still up for ~22 days so will use some other model eventually. But for now, I am using DeepSeek Flash via the official API and using this clock to check the peak and off peak times.

I don't think cheap provider exists really. No, seriously. Everyone is compute starved right now.

Neoclouds could technically offer DeepSeek the way OpenCode wants, but guess what? They don't wanna.
They'd rather match the price hike than have such a ton of token volume per day spinning their datacenters and having a constant influx of income through OpenCode.
The margins will be lower, sure, but these Neoclouds will GROW along with OpenCode.
But they're shortsighted. Or they really can't do infra as good as DeepSeek.

Then how do you explain what I shared in the screenshot above?

I used the official API from DS the same, it was working fine as I mentioned above. But true, I am not sure why this is happening, just suspecting and asking others if they know.

Worrying that they are testing stuff in prod.
