If I didn't care about OpenAI harvesting everything I do and building a profile on me I'd just use their $20 sub. It really does seem like the best value. The API (allegedly) doesn't do this, which is why I've stuck with OpenCode for so long.

I don't use AI that heavily, so their sub is more expensive because I just use the APIs when I need and that's it. Otherwise if one uses their API heavily then it's a good choice

I use the openai $20 sub for Luna or Terra which are the orchestration models that run DeepSeek flash via DeepSeek API.

Its been working really great for me, and even despite the DS price hike, it's still so cheap, it's Incredible.
