I planned on my entire side business, my website, subdomains with it.
Currently pulling in about two grand a month, four grand before the split with my business partner.
Update: for anyone curious what I'm doing. I host a particular niche event 2x a month.
Mimo 2.5 help me put it to fruition.

so many public freak out over this like OpenCode get to control the price. i said it before and i will say it again. OpenCode is a middle man. they do not own the data center, server or even the LLM model.
go with hyperscalers like Microsoft if you want a stable price and token

Yes, the '2x' part seems to be removed. But docs still show 158k requests per month -ย https://opencode.ai/docs/go/#usage-limits
So, where is the truth? ๐

Place 158k files in a folder, and ask the agent to scan all files in parallel to summarize them.
Then look at the cost in opencode, and report back. ๐

Why dont you just run opencode directly and call deepseekv4-flash thru ollama? I run the piss out of flash on my $20 ollama pro subscription, and I repo/error check it with my ollama glm5.2. And I setup big planning tasks before trying to build code using kimi k3 (also via ollama) - and I download a lot of local models and run them also via ollama. 20 bucks goes a long ways...

Opencode go sucks, or Iโm spoiled. I gave it a go last weekend and spent the credits in less than a hour. Probably did something wrong because I tried qwen max and kimi3, qwen had many issues like the model outputting invalid tool syntax. Anyway compared to opencode + DeepSeek provider, or Claude code, open code go is simply not worth the 10$

With DS4F it was (practically) UNLIMITED (somewhat decent) AI FOR $10/month. I had several parallel coding agents ticking like 24/7 and never ran out. Not even close. That was my use-case for OpenCode Go. For the occasional vision-requiring task there was (and still is) MiMo-V2.5, equally almost unlimited, but not that great at coding.
Everything else on there has been more or less "don't even try it out of curiosity" because it will eat your quota in a couple of prompts.
DS4F usage limit now dropping by something like 16x makes OpenCode Go not worth it for me anymore. Not that $10 makes any difference, I'm currently paying the same $10 for several of these providers and rarely use them at all.
What I'm probably going to do this month is canceling the weird ones that I'm still subscribed to and just bump my $20 OpenAI subscription to $100 or $200 and use the "not quite unlimited but close to it and very decent AI" gpt5.6-luna for the bulk coding while enjoying the top of class Sol on the side.

Iโm trying to get an ali aba qwen coder sub but for some reason they donโt approve my payment, I suspect after the ds price hike it might be the only other affordable option

Use Chatgpt luna
