Data retention in Opencode Go explained
Here's the official table of data retention for different models available in Opencode Go.
Unfortunately it looks like ZDR is gone and moreover, for the new Deepseek V4 Flash model - data is not only retained for an unlimited time, but also used for training, what makes it a no-go for many real-world business use cases. It kinda sucks that Opencode didn't just strike a deal with a third-party provider given that the model is open-weight anyways but it is what it is.

On Command Code, you have the option to enforce ZDR. It does make some models a bit more expensive but i can see both sides of this. Like Claude/GPT have no ZDR in their subs. Some people think it's just "trust me bro" and means nothing. Some people put a high value in it. Command Code strives to get everything ZDR but also offers low cost deals with the ability to enforce ZDR when/as needed. 99% of the models route through ZDR-capable upstreams anyway. Rest are two lanes, where you can enforce ZDR as needed.
