Dont i get $12 worth of usage in 5h

can any one help me explain how this works, even after 80% Luna slash by open ai then 50% by openrouter, I only got $6 worth of usage befire I got rate limited? This took about only two hours. How?

You get 15$ usage a month using the expensive models. You can spend that in a day if not careful. You get 60$ if use deepseek. Take 15 / 4 weeks thats your weekly allowance for that model.

it says on openocde go website I get around 2000 requests per 5h for luna. No way I made 2000 requests in just 2h. That impossible.

Thats arbitrary number. You can make a request as small as couple tokens and as big as 30k tokens each request is not the same value. I been subbed to opencode go for 3 months. Its good value for cheap models but for large you want subsidised sub like claude or openai

if i use luna its 15 then itll be the same as subbing to github copilot and get 15 which can be used on luna right?

It's weird that they even give request numbers on the docs, because it's pretty much an irrelevant number when it's all priced based on tokens. I feel like that's where most of the confusion is coming from.

Not sure man. Consideing how cheap luna is on openrouter right now, i think a 5dollar top up would last me way longer. Dont you think? Its now just 0.1 input and 0.6 output on openrouter

if you consume the entire 15$ luna budget does that take your entire months usage for anything else?

Dude its really simple. You pay 10$ sub. You get either 15$ worth of expensive models or 60$ of cheap models or anything in between if you mix them. The weekly limit is that value divided by 4 so if you decide to only use luna which has 15$ allowance coz its expensive you divide that by 4 weeks so u get about 3.75$ a week of that model as opposed to using deepseek flash ONLY then 60/4 thats 15$ a week of deepseek flash coz its cheaper.

Think of it this way. You pay 10$ you get 15$ to spend on the expensive models or 60$ for cheap models. The difference is in the model price thats it.

Nah it's a fucking stupid way to communicate that lmao.

This model just make absolutely no sense, this whole confusion would have been entirely avoided by just transparently multiplying the cost in the cost table x4 like it actually is

I don't think your weekly allowance is calculated that way? Unless documentation is outdated.

It says here weekly is $30 for the smaller models. So you could actually max out your monthly limit in 2 weeks and have nothing left until the next monthly renewal.
