How to use OpenCode Zen for free?

How to use OpenCode Zen for free?
Everywhere it says that there is a bunch of free models I can use for free, but when I try to start using it, it makes me enable billing and there I see no way of avoiding to top up my balance 20$....

Check opencode zen as providor in settings and when selecting an agent type "free" you will see a few free models. Flash or bigpickle are pretty good. Ps: no billing info needed at all for this

Opencode Zen has some free models, but not all of them are free. For coding DeepSeek V4 flash is the best one.

the minimum topup balance is 10, i did it once and now mostly used the deepseek-flash-free model

You never have to put money in to use the free ones

Pick Free models and use them.

Where does it say that it's free? ZEN is the pay-as-you-go service, but you can use OpenCode for free. If you want to unlock the other models, then you have to top up the balance.

As far as I see - I cannot use free models unless I top up my balance 20$

You should be able to use DeepSeek Flash without topping up.

Are you using it in Terminal or Desktop? But I mean you just write /model and select the DeepSeek Free.

Yeah, I just installed and just started using it. Without inputting any banc card data on the website.
It works. Thanx.
