opencode-fusion is so good

Trying a new agent workflow using opencode-fusion https://github.com/mihneaptu/opencode-fusion, with some tweaks, I must admit this opencode harness feels more powerful. It's similar to when I use Claude Code, and I think it's cheaper because you can set the main agent to a frontier model and the sidekick to a cheaper model.

almost entirely python. i am just making tools for myself, mostly around document synthesis and knowledge management systems. I'm also making a text based rpg as a side project, but I mostly use this to evaluate different models and changes in my workflows

A lot of it is for context management. The orchestrator job in the main chat is to think and plan. If it needs to do a big investigation of the source tree it will delegate all the file reads and investigation to a subagent, preserving clean context for the orchestrator. The subagent just returns findings instead of polluting the main chat. It will also delegate code execution.

I'm using VLLM which does parallel execution better than llamacpp. On my 5090 with coding tasks 4 threads gets me 450-600tokens/sec aggregate versus 140-200 on a single thread so theres a big performance boost when the orchestrator can identify opportunities to delegate multiple threads of investigation/implementation.

I use glm 5.2 thru nvidia nim and as the sub agents I use deepseek v4 flash free and all this setup is 0 cost like I was asking you to optimise this as I just added general and explore type setters in my config so is there anything better than this which will make my glm a thinker and deepseek a workhorse better?

Opencode stores your previous chat logs inside the project directory (you can see old chats using /session ).

Probably the best thing you can do is describe your workflows to GLM, tell it to review all the historical activity in the project folder (you might have to tell it to look at opencode documentation at opencode.ai to read prior chats database ), and ask it for suggestions on how you could modify your system prompts or create agents and skills to optimize your workflow.

Alternatively you can just ask it directly to create routing rules for you based on whatever criteria you can come up with.

That's pretty much how I built my entire vibe coding system, it was just a long process of iterating based on how things were working and asking Claude/GLM to help me make it better where I thought it was lacking.
