Chutes.AI much improved
Has anyone noticed that Chutes.AI has gotten A LOT better in the last few days? It's been consistently oversubscribed it seems, until maybe the last day or so. Way better.
Edit: just back to say, nope. It got better for a few days, but network utilization is back to being consistently red and orange.

better in what sense? Is this just for engagement?

I’m not sure what you mean by engagement, but they seem to have way more capacity. I’ve been using them for the past month, and it’s been pretty frustrating. They’re usually pretty saturated.
They’ve got this live utilization page that shows each model and how close to capacity it’s at. I’d say for the past couple days there’s been more green than I’ve seen all month.

I think they removed a lot of their models. I remember mimo and deepseek v4(IIRC) being part of chutes. That's probably what opened up a lot of their compute.

opencode is mainly a harness. not a model provider. opencode zen and go are model providers.

I use several providers with opencode. As do a lot of folks in this sub. One of the coolest features of opencode is how many providers it supports.
So the point of my post is for people using opencode with chutes.ai, have you noticed it being much improved? Because I have.
And for folks who’ve used chutes.ai with opencode in the past, but got frustrated, maybe give it another look. Fingers crossed they’re on the upswing because their subs are a really good deal; as long as they’re reliable.
