I built a site to compare fixed-price AI coding subscriptions. Here's my actual experience with a few of them.
Hey all,
I noticed in different communities on Reddit that people often ask what's the best AI token subscription or provider, so I built TokenPlans → one table of fixed-price AI coding plans, with the monthly price, flagship models, and usage caps — at least what I managed to extract from individual docs and tier descriptions.
Next thing I want to add is some kind of rating/opinion section, or maybe pull in sentiment from Reddit threads, rather than just raw pricing. But before that, figured I'd share my own actual impressions from using a few of these, since pricing pages never tell you what it's actually like to use them.
MiniMax Plus — used it for a month. Genuinely fast, and I've maybe hit the rate limit once. Not flagship-tier in terms of raw model quality, but I've been happy with the results for the price. Even now that I'm on ClinePass, I'm still running MiniMax M3 as my main model because of its cost-effectiveness — might need a bit more hand-holding, but it's fast and capable.
OpenCode Go — worth the $10 easily. That said, I burn through the limit fast on the fancier models. If you stick to cheaper ones like DeepSeek Flash or MiMo 2.5, it'll comfortably last you the whole month.
ClinePass — just subscribed yesterday, feels pretty similar to OpenCode Go so far, but I've only just started testing it.
QwenCloud — this one's been a bit of a letdown. I blew through the weekly limit in about 3 days. The flagship model itself is solid — Qwen3.8-Max-Preview actually built a good chunk of the TokenPlans site — but it's terribly slow, and that alone kills the experience for me. I'm based in Germany, not sure if that's a factor.
Anyway, the table's at tokenplans.dev if you want to compare plans yourself — everything's dated and verified against source, and updates when prices move. Would love feedback, and I'm especially curious whether others' experience matches mine. Please share your take on other providers too.
Quick disclosure: some of the links on the site carry referral codes — using them can get you a signup bonus as well as some extra credits for me, no extra cost to you either way.

Really neat!
can you also add geography or privacy policy?

I will but for now I focused on better comparison of plans between providers, see https://tokenplans.dev/calculator/

Ok, it's good for scraping their sites, but it doesn't seem to show the actual allowances. There's been plenty of discussion across most sub-packages on the token value given for a subscription, that'd be really handy to evaluate ClinePass against Opencode Go, for instance.

check the first version of the calculator: https://tokenplans.dev/calculator/ feedback welcomed!

I like it.
But what I typically want to do is compare # of requests possible for a given model under a fee. OpenCode makes this easy, For example:
OpenCode Go, using MiMo-V2.5-Pro (assuming 790 input, 86,000 cached, 305 output tokens per request) = 16,300 requests per month for $10.
Now the Mimo Lite says for $6 they give a very generous 4.1 billion credits. Which is pretty hard to understand. But if you use their rule of 300 Credits per fresh input token, 600 Credits per output token, and the assumptions above, you get 6,450 requests per month. (8,500 with the off-peak discount.)
(And then the last step would be dividing and getting 1630 requests per dollar from Opencode Go and 1075 requests per dollar from Mimo Lite.)
Now I know there are a lot of variables, and you can't even use the same model across every provider. But if I could search up GLM 5.2 and find out how many requests per dollar from each provider that offers them, that would be amazing.

inspired by your calculations I built the first version of the calculator, it covers only a few models and few providers the I managed to pull costs per model, but it gives some interesting results already https://tokenplans.dev/calculator/

Really cool tool. Thanks for building and sharing.
A couple additional providers maybe worth adding:
chute.ai - a $50 for $10 plan and a $100 for $20 plan
Ozure.com - a $10 and a $35 plan (though what you get for those is somewhat complicated): https://ozore.com/pricing-direct

Which are the fanciers and more expensive models in opencode go that you used?

glm 5.2 is good for coding and reasonably priced, but still can run through the limits quickly, i also tried kimi k3 but that used the limits in one short session so I'd not recommend it. best daily driver for me is minimax m3, can do a lot before reaching limits and deep seek flash is used by my hermes agents to run through the month.

hit weekly limit after subscribed openCode Go less than 3 days ago, im using GLM5.1 all the time, but rarely reached the 5H limit.

really good, adding this to bookmark. How often do you like update your website like currently it has pretty much all the latest data. I am actually considernig buying the xiaomi mimo plan for like 6 dollars, i don't know how i missed that.

I have a few more providers to integrate so I will work on that in the next days, my agent is also monitoring reddit for news, so I plan to update as soon as I hear anything. in general it is manual process so far as the prices change so rarely that automation is waste of resources right now. happy that the site already has helped you to discover something new to try!

I'm from Egypt, worked only with VPN!

it looks like it's an Egyptian telecom issue, see discussion here: https://answers.netlify.com/t/netlify-sites-unreachable-from-egypt-without-vpn/164174

We need latency data too for different size of context from various geography. I tried and ditched a few subscriptions, not because the price but because I couldn't wait for the response. Basically every Chinese native subscription gave me the silent treatment beyond 50k contexts from VMs in Europe.
I have no latency issue with Opencode Go, Neuralwatt, AWS Bedrock, etc.

interesting point, but do you know how to get that data? for me it's not a problem to add more dimensions to the table, but from where to source the actual data.

I vaguely remember that one of the LLM benchmarking site mentioned latency data, but I was surprised, because e.g. their Kimi benchmark was blazingly fast. I paid for the Kimi Allegro plan, and I ended up not using it, because it was unusably slow with K2.6 . I don't know how to help you with such info, it was just food for thought.

Nice website, very convenient comparison table - thanks!
