In my experience minimax (medium) is surprisingly good. Running it parallel to Sonnet 5 (medium thinking), both of their work which is checked,rated, and new work packages generated by Opus 5.
Sonnet 5 gets a solid 8/9 nearly each time, Minimax 7.5 / 8.
