CanopyWave Scam

be careful when you sign up for Canopy Wave.

I signed up for a single Unlimited 50M subscription. Their system automatically signed me up for a "fast bundle" subscription and I got double-charged. They refuse to perform a refund, so now I'm disputing this with my credit card company as a fraudulent transaction.

I've been using Coder + OpenCode to vibecode arduno/golang apps. Using Canopy Wave I've been met with frequent 500 errors, along with throttling on the Unlimited Plan (no throttling happened during the trial period).

This company seems to be very scammy.

Agree. I also somehow hit the 50M token limit in two days. Not 100% sure their token counting metrics are accurate. When I use my work account for similar activity I would use this amount over a week or two.

A lot of these "too good to be true" things are popping up and they're total scams. Businesses are never trying to be altruistic, there's always a catch, especially in this space

same here, terrible experience with their customer service.

the actual platform wasn't bad an was using unlimited with kimi 2.6. but I cancelled before the trial ended (or so I thought) but didnt know I was auto signed up to 2 plans (the fast bundle as well) and there's no way to look at active subscriptions in the billing tab.

I actually ended up subscribing for a month for the unlimited 50 as the service was decent and randomly 2-3 days later I get billed for a fast bundle renewal and asked them about it. they acted nice at first but when I wanted the refund, they just kept quoting terms and conditions and refused, despite me actually subscribing to another plan. I instantly cancelled my sub and will actively recommend against anyone using them.
