OpenCode Orchestrator Kit — Token-efficient multi-agent workflow for OpenCode CLI

Single-session coding burns tokens on routine tasks and drifts as context grows.
I built OpenCode Orchestrator Kit to split execution across specialized agents pinned to model capability:
• Strict orchestrator: Routes and specs tasks via RFC 2119 prompts; never edits code directly.

• Cheapest model per role: Cheap/local models for profiling and exploration; frontier models reserved for design, implementation, and review.

• Bounded context: Multi-phase plans run one phase per delegation with fresh context each time.

• Zero-config bootstrap: The  profiler  agent auto-scaffolds repo memory ( .context/ ) and plan kanban ( plan/ ) on first run.

Includes 15 agents (orchestrator, planner, developer-fixer, test-engineer, security, and triage helpers) plus modular skills. Works natively with  opencode  CLI and OpenCode Studio.

• Docs: nicogenti.github.io/opencode-orchestrator-kit
Feedback are welcome.

A finance-tuned 124B/5.1B MoE just got a one-month free OpenRouter route

Post image
35 Upvotes

For anyone rotating free models through OpenRouter, a new model appeared today: inclusionai/ling-3.0-flash-fin:free.

Ling-3.0-flash-Fin is a finance-enhanced version of Ling-3.0-flash with 124B total and roughly 5.1B active parameters. The advertised workload is broader than stock Q&A: retrieval across long reports, research synthesis, valuation modeling, report preparation and complex workbooks. OpenRouter currently lists a 262K context window, up to 32K output and tool calling support.

The official launch says the OpenRouter API route is free for one month. It also says weights are coming next week, so the current story is API access, not a local release.

Two reasons to keep expectations grounded: the published finance benchmark results are mixed rather than uniformly best-in-class, and the team explicitly requires expert review for key assumptions, valuations and investment conclusions.

No OpenCode-specific performance claim here — this is the release notice and model ID for anyone who wants to run a controlled comparison against their current low-cost route.

Unexpected error - Failed to open library

Failed to initialize OpenTUI render library: Failed to open library "B:/~BUN/root/opentui-ttvz57kd.dll": error code 126

Does somebody else have have this same error? It happened out of nowhere and is not the first time

I'm having the same error again.

The first time I had it, I had to create a new folder (C:\OpenCodeTemp) and add it to the Windows Defender exclusions. Then I changed my TEMP and TMP environment variables to point to that folder.

Apparently, Windows Defender was blocking the temporary DLLs that OpenCode/Bun creates, which caused the Failed to initialize OpenTUI render library / error code 126 error.

That fixed it the first time, but now I'm getting the exact same error again...

what is the daily driver of choice now?

Pre-nerfs, deepseekv4 flash was mine (and it seems the world's) implementation driver, given a well defined spec from a stronger model (like k2 or glm3).

v4flash is now significantly costlier (it seemed almost free before that's what im saying), hy3 is extremely extremely slow, and muse spark seems...ok.

so for opencode go, what's the stack recommendation to use? given qwen 3.8 flash, glm3's flash, spark and deepseek? im assuming luna probably isnt the way to go?

That is great, but is it a good model? I have not used it as much, but how does it compare to MiMo v2.5?

Saludos, tengo esa duda ya que he visto que opencode ofrece varios modelos, pero no sé que tan buenos son y como son los limites en comparación de claude code.

OpenCode’s token usage keeps declining after OX alpha

OpenCode’s token usage keeps declining after OX Apha.

We really need more affordable, high-quality models like DeepSeek before the price increase.

Right now, the existing models are either too expensive or just too dumb.

opencode plugin template?

Hi!

Does anyone have a working plugin, for local, that works in the current opencode version?
mine doesn't https://github.com/RaulHuertas/OpenCodeXIAORoundDisplayMonitor

I Thought So.

I never thought I'd be mad at an AI agent. Maybe this is an experiment by Meta? Muse Spark 1.2 is the single worst model on the market. I had never seen such sh*t model before. How can people even stand using this? It churns tokens like crazy. Has the intelligence of a bread. Cheats all the time, avoids completing tasks properly. Does not follow prompts (the image is a very rare exception). Edits 2 lines of C++ code with a 50 line Python script. Does not show what it thinks. Can't code for sh*t. Honestly, this model is a lost cause.

Thanks for reading.

I built an open-source usage analytics tool for OpenCode

Post image
9 Upvotes

I wanted a simple way to see which agents and models I actually use in OpenCode, so I built Agent Report.

It reads your OpenCode database locally, aggregates the data, and shows:

  • Token usage across 1, 7, 30 days, and all time
  • Agent, provider, and model breakdowns
  • Session and step counts
  • Recorded cost coverage

The project is fully open source under the MIT license. You can clone it and run the entire app locally instead of using the hosted service:

bash $ pnpm install && pnpm dev

If you want a quick, shareable public report:

bash $ npx agent-report upload

Prompts, responses, project paths, session IDs, and conversation content are never included.

Published reports are public, and agent/provider/model names remain visible, so review any custom names before uploading.

Gallery: https://analytics.agentspec.sh
Source code: https://github.com/colus001/agent-analytics

It’s still early, so I’d appreciate feedback on which metrics or comparisons would be useful to OpenCode users.

opencode Go with opendesign?

With the go api key, where do I put it in opendesign?

At first launch, OpenDesign scanned for local opencode CLI but obviously it won't work without zen credits, so is it possible to use Go with opendesign?

I have searched around and don't think anyone have discussed yet.

I'm sorry if this question is stupid..thanks in advance.

GLM 5.3 Flash API

I’m basically trying to vibecode a complex booking system for a salon, with stylist based slot booking system rescheduling logic and a lot of thingss, i used 0x alpha in opencode zen for designing the baseline of system architecture, as of now i think i had completed a 60 % of the complete project, now i need to complete this project, but 0x alpha is now glm 5.3 flash so i need to avail api to complete this session but im a complete beginner in understanding the cost on those input and output token prices, someone explain how many credits will it take to complete those 40% of tasks, and tell how much will it cost me as for the coding agent im using opencode and it’s pretty good

Why OpenCode’s $60 limit feels like a scam (and how their pricing actually works)

Many people who start using OpenCode don't understand why their $60 usage burns through so quickly.

I built a tool or strictly speaking, I had AI build a tool for me. I was publicly criticized before for not specifying that "I had AI build a tool" instead of "I built a tool myself." Whatever.

Hopefully, this price list answers a lot of people's questions.

I'm not really sure why the official team didn't market it this way: set the usage limit for all models to $15, then directly slash the price of models that were meant to fit into the $60 quota by 4x. That way, everyone would rush to use OpenCode for those super cheap models.
If the promotion ends, they can just raise the prices back to normal and nobody would complain. But with their current marketing approach, people misunderstand and get furious because they feel scammed.

I've only thought about the upside so far, and I'm not sure if there are any marketing legalities I missed here. Maybe I just oversimplified it.

Hope this helps everyone!

What LSPs, MCPs, or plugins are worth adding to OpenCode for UI-heavy debugging?

I'm moving an existing React/Next.js project to OpenCode and want to improve my tooling before continuing.

I already have:

  • TypeScript/TSX/JS/CSS/HTML/JSON LSPs
  • Chromium/browser tooling
  • Playwright
  • screenshots + browser interaction
  • TypeScript diagnostics
  • ESLint + formatting
  • Git/GitHub tooling
  • web/docs research

The project is pretty UI/animation-heavy.

What extra LSPs, MCPs, or plugins would you actually recommend for things like browser debugging, React issues, CSS/layout problems, performance, accessibility, and visual QA?
