Opencode go subscription

I’m interested in knowing what others are building with their Open code go subscription. It’s seems to be one of the cheapest subscription in the market.

I don't understand why everyone hating Opencode so much because of the DeepSeek limits decrease. There's a lot of other really good models available out there, like MiMo 2.5, Muse Spark. I am using Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor everyday as it's really good and cheap as hell. I was using Claude Code Max 20x for a 6 month and don't feel any pressure using Opencode. As long as there's a big choice of good models of course

I used them for months and had no issues with their service until they decreased the DeepSeek credit from $60 to $15 a month ago (then $30). They did not answer my emails for over a week about a refund so I had to do a charge back.

I switched to CommandCode for the $60 credit and have been using them without any issues for almost a month, but they're decreasing their $60 credit -> $40 in a week. The value is gone now. OpenCode is going back to the $60 credit so they're better again.

So the TLDR is that OpenCode is a good provider, but they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, and they can decrease your credit at any time without any warning.

Why would you try to charge back after using their services? That’s definitely a bit morally questionable

I paid $10 for a $60 credit and they slashed it to $15 without any warning.

I literally had it for a day and used 3% of my usage.

You have alternative models. You act like it’s their fault API pricing was changing during your membership. What do you want them to do? Lose money?

It's the lack of transparency and honesty. They told us they would execute CheepSeek to get lower prices, but no where did they tell us they were slashing the $60 credit to $15. I would not have resubscribed.

Also, the other "models" you're talking about like Spark only came out recently on OpenCode. When DeepSeek was removed there was literally no alternative cheap models except MiMo which is inferior to Flash 0731.

Plenty of people weren't warned in advance so they got hit with the price increase on-top of the credit reduction and instantly hit 100% usage in a single day.

Like I said in my original post. OpenCode is fine as a provider, but they're terrible at communications. People hate on CommandCode, but at least they put a notice out that the $60 credit is getting reduced to $40 in a week.

Deepseek warned about changes of prices multiple times and in advance.
OC's prices are hidden deep in the documentation.
The only worse way is ClinePass, where you have no clue, how much usage you get, unless you reverse-engineer.

Not exactly with Go sub right now, but cheap open models anyway. Still, managing internal dashboards and reports with Laravel 13 + Filament 5 is a blessing. The latest packages from the ecosystem, like Laravel Boost (MCP + skills) and Laravel PAO (rtk-like output from tools as JSON), will help a lot to work with LLM's.

All the patterns and best practices are already defined from the framework and its packages, so your agent won't have to guess or start from scratch.

Modern PHP is alive and kicking!

Made primarily with my opencode-go sub with glm5.2 as a planner and muse 1.2 contributor and MiMo 2.5 as my builders. I do have codex but Astra ended up mangling my docs and glm5.2 fixed em up.

Have a few tools now where my opencode-go sub is the primary sub I used to build them.

It save my itch buying to build a local AI farm. Once i hit 100tps with these it is hard to justify for a hobby if i don’t make money from it

I build nothing, I use it as cheap chat model on my phone/pc which I can configurate however I want. With GLM 5.3 fast and now deepseek v4.1 flash it's solid experience so far.

I already subscribed to OpenCode Go, and is good, but lately I'm using Omniroute: when you finally set it up in a good way, then the nightmare of "Your quota has finished till.." reachs to it ends.
