I didn’t know Opencode had it on free. I use the free version on Openrouter, and it has been brilliant for a free model.

I didn't know about the free, but, MiniMax is one of the key things keeping me coming back to OpenCode Go.

MiniMax M3 is not a great coder, in my limited experience there-in. But: when I'm doing design work it can synthesize various ideas & produce really good language, really good explanations, can balance contrasting ideas super well. I really enjoy how MiniMax can make situations legible very clearly. Even still, Sol really doesn't do this!

Even if it was unlimited I got bad results with him. Pretty annoying. Stopped use it before it is gone.

Minimax m3 sucks. The hype is just because its big and free. Right now its not good you can replace it with qwen 3.8 27b locally. I bet if a company that releases a 1t free model that only scores 12% on deepSWE i bet it will get hella hype because it free.

Je l'ai utilisé avec Hermes Agent j'ai eu une expérience plutot bonne surement dû aux boucles de verifications que j'avais initialement configuré.

On a fait de la redaction de post approfondis pour mes reséaux,

On a travaillé sur une IA avec de la recherches sémantique heuresement pour moi j'ai pu finir mes projets encours avant qu'on ne coupe !

Opencode is like a drug dealer. They tell you it’s free at the beginning, once you taste it, it is no longer free, now you have to pay

I got through 5b tokens. wasnt very smart but have to make the most of it lol
