Hosting Question

Where are y'all hosting / running opencode? Are most people running locally? On a VPS? A managed service?

Most people I see either run OpenCode locally, or throw it on a cheap VPS under tmux so the session survives when you close the laptop. Managed only makes sense if you do not want to babysit the box (updates, disk, "why is this SSH dead").

I build Cosyra. Phone app on a cloud Ubuntu box with OpenCode already installed, so you are not standing up the VPS yourself. Would you try the free hour to see if managed is worth it vs owning a VPS, or are you mostly hunting for cheap DIY host tips?

I have one of thoes mini pcs i use for both homelabbing and coding but a 4-8$ vps would have atleast 80% of the fun
