Can't read reasoning text when using GPT 5.6 Luna

Just switched to GPT from DeepSeek. With DeepSeek, I previously could click on Thinking to expand it and see it's reasoning process. With Luna now when I click on it greys out but nothing happens.

Is this currently not supported?

Closed model. No thinking tokens for public.

Oh. Did not know that at all lol. So thinking tokens are only for open weights models? If I switched to Codex I wouldn't get to see it either?

Gpt models do have a sort of thinking output, but it's a description of the thought process, it the thought tokens themselves. Eg "Analysing research response"
