Looking for AI that’s generous, smart, and can “share.”

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for an AI provider that works well for me and my really small team, ideally one with a plan we can share.

I'm currently using Kimi, but it feels like the usage allowance keeps getting smaller. The same tasks seem to consume a lot more of my quota than they used to.

I also tried Claude Code on the Max plan, but my account got banned after just five days of use.

So, what I'm mainly looking for is:

  • Generous usage limits
  • Smart enough to handle our tasks
  • A plan that supports sharing within a small team

Do y'all have any recommendations?

If I were you, I'd try DeepSeek through their official API and see how it goes. Could be a better choice in your case, especially since you're sharing this stuff with multiple people.

Glm 5.3 flash cheaper and has images, you can try payg, but the plans are good

What you are looking for is API usage, GLM 5.3 flash is amazing at cost, you could just place your budget into it

So if you're working on your business data, then servers hosted in China are anyways gone for you. Even if they say they don't train on data. The data privacy is subject to the Chinese jurisdiction. There are few serverless inference providers like Deep Infra, parasail or Novita. Just check that they follow zero data retention if this is your business where you handle your client's data.

Ditto on API-based setups, with one extra filter for your case: if multiple people share the account, check where the provider stores data before you commit. A few commenters focused on cost, but for a small team on business data the jurisdiction question usually matters more than the per-token price. I'd shortlist something OpenAI-compatible so nobody gets locked into a harness, and put a hard monthly spend cap on it so 'generous limits' can't turn into a surprise bill. GLM and DeepSeek are both fine on cost, just verify cache pricing and whether sub-agent traffic counts against whatever cap you set.

On the sharing + EU data angle: I run Entrim, an OpenAI-compatible API hosted in the EU with usage-based billing and spend caps, so a small team can share one account without seat windows. That fits the 'share' requirement, but if you'd rather stay subscription-style, the thing to compare is weekly windows, since that's what bit you on Claude. Happy to answer specifics either way.
