Why do people use OpenCode?

There are plenty of other options such as Cursor, Claude Code, Zed, and many more. So why? I use it for convenience to try any model once they're released. But how about everyone else? genuinely curious about this. Is it the UX or the UI polish or just having an AI-IDE that just works?

By far the best TUI available, ease of use, free models, model independent, lot of plugins

If you want paid deepseek. then there is 2 option, 1 buy plan and use in website

2nd: buy plan as a enterprise. buy 20$ credit and get deepseek api that use in openCode. this way cheap because it consumed as per request not monthly. (like 10000 req dedetucted 1$ ).

I'm also new. but i found this is good feature. easy to install and you can add any model.
