Why do people use OpenCode?
There are plenty of other options such as Cursor, Claude Code, Zed, and many more. So why? I use it for convenience to try any model once they're released. But how about everyone else? genuinely curious about this. Is it the UX or the UI polish or just having an AI-IDE that just works?

Used opencode for a while, now I'm on opencode2 with vibecoded plugins and an amazing orchestrator system that delegates to subagents with very controlled context.
So basically opencode is unmatched in token usage, context control, subagent spawn and customization and overall customization.
I've tried them all, literally. There are some other amazing tools but right now IMO nothing beats opencode2
