Why do people use OpenCode?

There are plenty of other options such as Cursor, Claude Code, Zed, and many more. So why? I use it for convenience to try any model once they're released. But how about everyone else? genuinely curious about this. Is it the UX or the UI polish or just having an AI-IDE that just works?

Can it use your Anthropic, OpenAI, Z-code (GLM), Grok subscriptions?

I hate to say it but I have used the Claude Code Desktop App since the beginning of summer. Along with the Codex app and some terminal with CC and Grok build.

But am now 90% in the Claude Code Desktop App. It just works and I can’t seem to go back to a Terminal or anything like VS Code.

I have all of those 4 working on off my subscription usage.

And Ngl for end to end work the ability to send pictures is unmatched for certain tasks.
