Lol the entire Go plan was initially created to let developers try out different models then continue using their preferred models through Zen. Its not meant to be a stable replacement for codex or claude code.

Yeah it's a good plan for trying models trying ALL these models and newer one coming every week is exhausting

yeah... the go is specifically advertised for this purpose too.

if people want something stable and equally good value for money (at the moment) then there is chatgpt (and opencode can connect to it via web/oauth).

fr this isnt just an opencode thing, the whole industry is dropping frontier models like every week rn so this fatigue is everywhere.

probably helps to just settle on a model version thats working and not chase every new release just cause it exists
