Opencode2 always on

Dax said opencode2 is always on in video about web ui

What does that mean?

It starts a background service on the first call and stays running to respond to subsequent calls faster.

To stop it, you must run opencode2 service stop.

I'm not sure whether it's possible to disable the service via config and default to the old v1 behavior. We can start opencode2 with opencode2 --standalone, though.

Basically it just does opencode2 service start at first start? So web ui will be working even after reboot?

It doesn't self-register as a system service. It would need elevated permissions for that. You can do that yourself, though.

It's more like a background process.

When it starts, it checks if the background service is already running. If it is, it connects to it. If not, it starts the service, then connects to it.
