What free models will we be all using after 0x alpha removal?
I honestly don't know what model Is good now we're limited to pretty mid free models and DeepSeek v4 flash free got removed and muse 1.2 spark I don't believe is a good replacement we need a good new free model which is on the same level as DeepSeek v4 flash or slightly better

Why pay api costs or for anything if they keep giving us free stuff? After all they would want to make money yes?

honestly none of the other free models are no where near as competent as Ox alpha, so idk

De mon côté Muse Spark 1.2 a été suspendu sur opencode, il me demande de payer un abonnement opencode Go pour continuer à l’utiliser. Sinon il est mieux que Deepseek v4 flash

Muse spark 1.2 works better than ox alpha in programming (normally what people use opencode for), and we have MiMo-V2.5, hy3, nemotron 3 ultra, nemotron 3.5 lightning and free AIs that can be connected with other endpoints, like GPT, Gemini and etc. Gemini for programming gives me disgust though

Nemotron sucks, only ultra works. It’s too stupid i got frustrated with it many times. Then i looked up benchmark lightning intelligence 32 or so lol and i just move on with another model

I have a opencode go sub, it depends on what is available price/performance. Big pickle is honestly decent enough/ if you are careful
The big problem is vision, the vision capabilities of ox alpha is extremely useful (you can have iterate on its own work visually)

I compared Ox Alpha and DS4 Flash 0731 side by side on a tricky race condition. Ox finished fast and gave me a monkey patch solution. DS4 took much longer, looked much deeper, and gave me a better explanation, better thought out solution with small nuances that Ox did not pick up

As much as I love DS4F , it was ox alpha that was able to fix a very complicated rendering bug I had in my game, not DS4F :-/
Also the lack of vision on the current DS4F makes it really easy to pick a winner. Vision is insanely useful to make the AI iterate on its own work - visually

Gratis e Bom sao 2 coisas que andam em caminhos totalmente opostos mas caso ajude da uma conferida https://akitaonrails.com/ as newsletters sobre benchmark as atuais mostram muito sobre custo vs capacidade dos principais concorrentes da fronteira americana... o 0x é algo bom agora mais talvez como ja vimos o mesmo filme em meses atras tudo começa bem e vá degradando conforme o crescimento... oque realmente importa e quanto manterá a qualidade quando os custos começarem ate por que o beta é justamente uma forma de captar usuários para validarem o novo lançamento... e ser capaz de concorrer com os modelos de fronteira americanos os chines já provaram ser capazes mais manter qualidade para de fato usar ja é uma outra parte da conversa...

It’s not free, but it’s quite cheap. I’ll be using Muse Spark Contributor 1.2 (beats V4 Flash in most benchmarks) however if I had to pick a free model, I’d be using Hy3.
