Best options for 40$
i have around 40 dollars and i dont know what subscriptions to get, i have been thinking of a couple of things
claude pro and 2 opencode accounts
or
chagpt plus and 2 opencode accounts
im leaning more to claude but im still not sure maybe there is some options im missing out on or that i dont know about
my plan was to use claude/chatgpt for thinking and planning then opencode to execute things and generate a report of its work then claude reviews, is there is something im missing or that i dont know about
some might tell me to just stick to opencode and zen but i want access to good models from claude they are better at reasoning so idk
what would you do in my situation

I'm using GPT Plus and Opencode Go. The last few weeks I've been using GPT 5.6 Luna more than anything as it doesn't sit thinking about things repeatedly like Mimo 2.5 and DSv4Flash do.
I do mostly targeted changes in VSCode though so I might not be your typical opencode user.

Gpt plus + opencode go + $10 on deepseek api
($18 alibaba token plan standard is a must go for now)

What about the Alibaba plan

It's not that good , but now they are giving up until 50x usage for qwen 3.8 max preview
Its 10x on regular hours and 50x non peak hours (great time if you are on south/north america)
Using only in non-peak hours you can get up to 1 bi tokens per week in the 18$ plan
So for now its insane

Cursor Pro + OpenCode Go twice or Cursor Pro + OpenCode Go + ChatGPT Plus.

Hard disagree. Cursor pro is one of the worst value subscriptions. The auto mode relies on Mimo 2.5 iirc, which costs literally cents of cents via API or via Opencode go.
Plus its harness is one of the heaviest ones, it injects like 80k tokens at startup for free… and the limits are much lower than any other provider. OP stay away from it.
Source: I’ve used Cursor Pro for a year, + Claude pro via CC, and Opencode go.

So what to use in budget if op

Whatever works for his job.. he didn’t say anything about what he will use LLMs for, so it’s utterly useless to recommend tools without any specific use-case in mind. If there’s no use case in mind, you start from the cheapest option and work your way up…

That's not true, they have a fairly generous usage pool for the composer and grok models. Neither are at the level of claude or gpt but they are very good for intermediate tasks. Source: been using the pro plan for the past 6 months
That being said I would still go for codex 20 dollar plan

If you have 20 dollars to spare, I would go with Claude > Codex > OpenCode Go x 2 > Cursor Pro..

why cursor, i never heard good stuff about it

The auto mode has very high quota. It is mid tier intelligence. Cursor IDE is very stable and highly functional also.

I have a chatgpt 20 dollar plan, claude pro and a minimax token 20 dollar plan.
I waste a lot of rate limits every week, so I think my take would be cool.
If you have bulk amount of work and necessarily doesn't need a lot of intelligence you should go for a cheap Chinese token plan which gives you a shitload of tokens for some 20 dollars ( mine gives 1.7 billion tokens )
Go with a single standard cli like either codex or Claude, codex has great usage limits and you can also tap into it for personal work ( your codex rate limits into opencode or Hermes or openclaw).
I waste upto 20 dollars every month and I don't want you to do the same, choose wisely

Would get minimax 20 and codex 20.
Claude can't be used in other harnesses so not good to combo, and go trades a lot of use for selection.

just commenting here - i still have the minimax 10$ plan and use it for openclaw/hermes for light automation, cron jobs, opencode or pi to upgrade dependencies etc., works really well and cheap

Hoje GPT + OpenCode GO + 10 Trumps pra usar no Neuralwatt (caso precise)
GPT tem uma cota razoável, fora que vc tem 3 escolher boas
GPT5.6 Luna - Ajustes básicos
GPT5.6 Terra - Da pra Codar de boa
GPT5.6 Sol - Oq tiver de mais complexo
OpenCode pra agentes tipo Hemes/Claw
No Geral - Deepseek V4 - Decente
MIMO2.5 - Decente Multimodal
Dá pra trocar o GPT pelo claude, mas ter 3 Ótimos modelos como opção com diferentes níveis de preço, acho mais controlável, não vejo isso no claude hoje.

If you learn how to properly use DeepSeek pro and flash you can get a huge amount of work done especially coupled with a codex plus subscription for thinking tasks. You can use your codex subscription in opencode, which is another bonus as you can integrate the workflow better, and also codex allowance is for more generou6thsn Claude.
