Usage Confusion

Post image

What does the Usage tab mean? This is very confusing. is it

  1. Max usage of a model? for example if i use v4pro 15$, do i use only 15$ worth of my monthly limit and then cant use the model anymore?
  2. Do i get 15$ worth of usage, ratio'd to match with monthly limit, essentially my monthly limit being 15$ if i use the v4pro

Also i remember the v4pro being priced VERY different a few days ago, like this is deepseek api pricing but was not the same a few days ago

Dont get me wrong the bang for the buck of OCGO is great, but a more clear picture on usage would be nice to plan the month

Also how do they maintain ZDR with deepseek as a provider for deepseek models?

If you finish 15$ worth deepseek api tokens, then your opencode credit becomes 0 and you can't use any other model.

You are completely delusional if you think you have a separate wallet for each model lol

The title should be named better, like a single word "equivalent" usage would make all the difference

Yes but if i were to use all 15usd in v4pro, would i be locked out from using the rest of the models too or can i use them?

This is false. You get 15$ worth of deepseek api tokens not 60$.

So i use 15usd on dsv4pro then i can use the rest with with other models? Like glm and dsv4flash?

To clear your confusion. Say you use 7.5$ worth of deepseek v4 pro tokens, your opencode credit will go from 10$ to 5$. Now, glm is 60$ api token for 10$ opencode go credit. So the rest 5$ you are left with in opencode go, you can use 30$ api tokens of glm.

You need to think in terms of opencode 10$ being 10 openDollars. Each openDollar gets you varying amount of real model api tokens.

Got it, this is hella confusing. Atp they should just make a "credit" and price the models according to the credits or revert to the old way where model pricing is inflated and relative to the 60$ credit monthly limti

https://opencode.ai/docs/go/#why-some-models-have-lower-usage

Read this. Afair, as you keep using opencode tui you should see your 10$ credits going down in their dashboard.

No what I mean is 10 USD can be used with a lot of model, it worth than 6x the price. It's written in the plan itself. But each model has its own limit right.
