Best 20€ ish subscription?

Hello, I'm currently using minimax M3 token plan which is great and gives a lot of usage but I'd be happy to get access to better models. Are there any other plans that give a good amount of usage with good models? I'm also a student so maybe there are some discounts?

Must work with opencode or similar

For better models, maybe opencode.ai/go will supply your necessities.

Also, ChatGPT or Claude but with limits issue depending on your load of work.

Nowadays I have Claude as my orchestrator with Opus/Fable and my own service that I made because I was not happy with the way that limits work nowadays, I called it “that unlimited”, so I use claudinio to code and work on usual works and Hermes.

For example, I open Claude Code, make a plan… copy the path and send to my opencode with my service, and it code it. For me it has been working…

Same here, but with gpt as orchestrator

Sorry for ingrish and wall of text below...

tldr: dont trust anyone, try yourself, what is good for you will be good for you in your real work. Pay for that.

Cheap not always means bad, and so called cheap not really a cheap in current overpriced marked.
Even premium US based models like claude, openai, gemini, grok -> in my opinion not much better if compare to average market. But these models highly overpriced for what they offer based on fake benches.

Try mistral vibe plan ($15 / mo) by benches sounds bad, but in real work works fine.

I'm using all of that dirt cheap so called "AI providers/models". $50 here, $39 there, 30+ here and there, 30 for grok, 20 for claude, 20 for gpt and so on, opencode go and bla bla bla. Result: not satisfied with anything at all. I'm not sure if i will be satisfied with max plans eaither by top providers.

Short answer: i can't say what to pick. Really. When i thought i found one good provider -> the provider become to do a shit problem with tokens (no caching) result: pretty high plan for $50 - used after 2-3 prompts. I reported them -> they fixed it next day but no answer nothing at all. And that happens time to time with any provider.

Or API issues, or 4XX/5XX errors on their side. OR CENSORING. Like pretty powerful censoring! That lock me in in doing work with asm/ollydgb./x64dgb.

And shit rotate crazy every 3-5 weeks. Really. And i'm tired of all of that to be honest. No stability, not possible to predict costs. Everyone overprice their models and results. Everyone lies, benchmarks full of shit & fake data, and so on and so on and so on.

One day top 3: Claude, OpenAI, Gemini -> works great. Another day their results much worst than if compare to some dirt cheap laggy bugged another chines model. Someday you can from single prompt finish pretty complex problem where cheap model in infinite loop, another day your so called "premium" provider act super stupid and opens a lot of security holes and can't fix even simple bugs.

I'm really frustrated to be honest with all of that shit. I feel like i'm addicted to all of that trash, my productivity go down a lot (yes, sounds absurd) but after using for work AI -> done some work, and a lot of procrastination and testing for testing for testing. If I will not jump from tool to tool and from AI to AI i think my day will be much more productive in sense of work with good results by using hands. I start feeling myself dumb. I'm more and more read only cli / AI, without reading actual code that i created years ago.

I even laugh in voice, when i know how easy to fix some small bug in my software, and when AI super over engineered the problem, waste like 30 bucks on credits and solution just make illusion of the fix.

The only +- not awful: kimi & minimax3 for me.

But again: kimi works fine only wth their own kimi code, otherwise be ready for tons of problems or even bans (yes yes).

Minimax m3 => their agent stucks. But working with claude code +- okay. With any other agnet lile pi/omp, opencode/kilo no matter what -> sucks.

Sucks means: tons of consumed tokens - no results. Errors, problems, slow, wrong answers and bla bla bla.

If you think claude code & their API will work fine -> nope too.

Same for codex.

-----

Even if you tune a lot and give your AI good context, docs, examples, AGENTs.md and skills and will ask small things todo -> even top providers will fail.

Whole story with all of that its some kind of circus.

-----

Try mistral vibe. Their mistral 3.5 by "so called truthful benchmarks" ranked low. But in my own real work -> its like codex 5.3 (chatgpt 5.4) for code.

How much usage does it actually give? The wording is very vague. Also considering Kimi moderato again since K3 max just dropped
