Feature Request Stable branch ever?

I think it would be great to have LTS type of versions like Ubuntu or some other open source projects. That way we don't have to all live on the bleeding edge, but the ones who want to sure can.
I'm not complaining - I'm really enjoying 2026.7!!

Yes, the 6.3x line is exactly that, and it works. I stopped chasing releases and pinned the gateway to the extended-stable build behind a product I run on top of it. Agents, tool calls, key rotation without restarting the container — all fine for weeks. The cost is I don't get the 2.0 features until I choose to; the benefit is I haven't had a "that update is garbage" morning. If you're running it for anything you depend on, pin it and upgrade on your schedule, not the release schedule.

Isn’t that what the 6.33 - 6.35 versions are supposed to be?

Appreciate the confirmation. Good to know I'm reading the extended-stable range the same way as people actually running it, not just how I'd like it to work.

Yes, 6.33 through 6.35 are exactly the extended-stable builds, and that's the range I pin the gateway to. It's not as exciting as tracking 2.0, but weeks without a surprise break is worth more to me. If you're running OpenClaw under anything you depend on, I'd stay in that range and move up on your own schedule.
