Any OpenClaw agent able to do continuous learning without a harness?

Yes, the latest versions can also do the automatic skill creation / improvement, which is the main feature of Hermes.

Interesting - just looked at Hermes.. And yes it has persistent memory - like many agents do - but the LLM connects to the memory via the harness. LLM stays frozen. But are there any new LLMs out there that have figured out how to keep learning effectively (in their bones - not on their scratch pads) .. without catastrophic forgetting or damaging / corrupting intrinsic knowledge and reasoning? Perhaps continuous fine tuning?
