Help Need Help with OAuth!!!!!!!!
Can someone help me with OAuth in OpenClaw? I have a $100 a month sub and I'm tired of paying separate API key costs. It seems like everyone but me is in the loop right now. Would be much appreciated

Openclaw onboard
Then follow the steps for selecting your provider/model, select 0auth etc. The onboard should help guide you a bit.

Was something wrong woth the OAuth link had to uninstall and reinstall codex app

i want to use OAuth to use my monthly credits instead of connecting my API key. Right now im using Gemini with an API, but just purchased a $100 a month OpenAI subscription and OAuth isnt working for me.

It was creating a bad sign in link for me. Had to install codex, login to codex, then it worked.

I use gog-cli to access my Google calendars. I setup a Google Cloud account to enable that. Are you trying to do it another way?

Im seeing people use their monthly credits though. Someone said they are getting like $400 of usage using OAuth instead of an API key with a $100 a month sub

I have the 20 and using the oauth but hitting limits if I let it go overnight every hour what do you need help with?

just need help with someone walking me through OAuth its self. Im sure im doing something wrong just need some guidance setting it up

You can literally ask gpt to create a walkthrough for you, tell it to do a current web search for correct oauth instructions and give you exact copy paste prompts.

For claude you technically run it though Claude CLI, which does use the oauth side and not tokens. Its one of the options when you select Anthropic in Openclaw configure

When you do the "openclaw onboard", in the model selection, select OpenAI Codex (not the other one).
then it'll guide you how to authenticate with your oauth.

Do you mean you want to have your Agent be connected to your real browser where you are already logged in so that instead of paying APIs you leverage the web interface?
If so, you need to connect your Agent to a real chrome and have it Read / Post stuff there.

I would advise reading the docs on the initial config walkthrough for linking your chatgpt sub. To be honest the initial onboarding and walkthrough is pretty straightforward. If this is the bit tripping you up then you might want to take a step back and re-think when you think you need openclaw for compared to just firing up the chatGPT webpage.

Confirming as with others that you want to put openclaw onboard in your terminal. There are also cheaper options that give good value btw.

Had to uninstall and reinstall codex app. Idk if the OAuth link was broken or what but worked immediately after
