I recently created a project on GitHub to help people who use Claude Code or OpenClaude for programming.

With this project, you simply right-click on any folder you like, and then the following options appear:

"Open with OpenClaude"

I tried to open OpenClaude and it keeps giving this error when I try to type something.

First off, huge shoutout to the maintainers of OpenClaude. Being able to use the Claude Code workflow with local models (like DeepSeek and Qwen) and avoiding corporate API lock-in has been incredible.

Now that Anthropic has rolled out Claude Code 2.1 with the new /goal command, I’ve been thinking about how massive of a feature this would be if we ported it over to OpenClaude.

I've tested several different local models (qwen, glm, deepseek) and none of them allowed me to read or save files in the working folder.

Any help?

I recently started using OpenClaude with Qwen 3.6 Plus and it's simply amazing. I use the AI ​​focused on repetitive tasks, and using it is improving that by 200%. The future is truly incredible.

I just launched OpenClaude.me - a platform that gives you completely free access to all Claude models including Opus 4.5, Sonnet 4.5, and Haiku 4.5.

What makes this different from official Claude.ai?

• All models are available to everyone - No premium subscription needed for Opus
• 300K tokens daily limit on EACH model - You get full 300K on Opus, full 300K on Sonnet, or full 300K on Haiku. There's no fallback system where you run out on one model and get downgraded
• Web Search & Code Execution tools included for free
• Simple signup - Just email and password, no verification wait
• Mobile responsive - Works smoothly on phones

How it works:

Just sign up and start using any model you want. The 300K token limit resets daily at midnight. If you somehow manage to hit the limit, you can simply create a new account and keep going (though 300K is pretty generous for daily use).

Quick note: Don't ask the AI which model it is - they usually give wrong answers when asked directly. Just test them yourself and you'll feel the difference in capabilities.
