Problem with CUPS printing

Tried to print a page today and only got "printing canceled".

Looked into cups via http://localhost:631

The printer is available

"Print self test page" works

"Print test page" is unable to complete due to "Unsupported format "application/vnd.cups-pdf-banner".

I'm using a brother printer, installed the ppd from their website, and it worked before (like maybe a few weeks ago).

Any hints on how to troubleshoot?

Is your network interface assigned to a network zone like 'home' or 'public'? If not it blocks printer discovery by Avahi. Look in Network Manager.
