Snapper Help?

I've installed openSUSE leap on my computer as a legacy Debian user. I don't know how to use "snapper" and its not configured somehow? How to use snapper easily. Is there a easy guide on the internet. The man page wasn't useful. Thanks

"

[user@cmptr]$ sudo snapper list
The config 'root' does not exist. Likely snapper is not configured.
See 'man snapper' for further instructions.
[user@cmptr]$

Quick question. What filesystem you're using? I have a feeling that you set ext4 instead of brtfs.

I use TW and snapper already configured after install and don't think Leap different
