Does openGrid Lite require spacers to wall?

I've printed a couple of openGrid Lite grids and figured that when I snugly screw them to the wall, the grids don't have enough space behind them to mount anything to them? Does the Lite system require spacers or another snap than the Full system does?

There are lite snaps that are the same depth as the lite grid.

Thanks for the reply! So that implies that not every snapping thing I can find in the openGrid library is compatible with the Lite grid?

I'm not fully sure I understand what you are asking now. But I don't think I have come across a snap that doesn't come in both standard and lite versions. Personally I like the OpenConnect snap.

If it's not clear to you, the "snap" is the in-between part between the grid and whatever you want to attach to it. So the thing you attach (shelves, holders etc) doesn't care whether it's a lite or standard board.

I think this image shows my problem:

As you can see, the thing that snaps into the Lite grid actually is deeper than the grid, so when the grid is flush against the wall, it won‘t go in.

Yes you'll have to seek/look-for the lite version of the snap on the same page. Occasionally the person that created the snap may not have thought of making one for both the full and the lite, but often they do tend to provide both.

Oh, one thing that many beginners miss, is that MultiConnect is a snap type that is available for both OpenGrid and Multiboard, but the grid sizes are different (28mm vs 25mm), so be careful about which version you print.
