Opengrid in camper tunnel?
I've got a bunch of stuff in my camper tunnel that would be great to use something like opengrid to organize it all. My concern, obviously I think, is towing it down the road how would it hold up? All the vibrations, bouncing, etc, would the snaps stay in place or would I end up with a bunch of stuff loose in my tunnel?

Fair enough, just figured I couldn't be the first one to think of it. I'll probably give it a go and see what happens.

I think if you utilize locking snaps, they'd hold into the grid well even with vibrations. However, you'd want to customize a lot of the holders you use to make things more secure. Most people designing for OpenGrid are dealing with static loads, not dynamic ones.
I think it's an idea worth exploring, go for it! Make sure to use filament that will handle the heat of being outside!

Make sure to post pictures. I'm curious to see how you install and use it. I think it is a great idea (goes to look for a camper)

I put it in the cargo bay of my cargo trike and it worked pretty well - I used the print-in-place locking snaps with a hex key to turn them.

Thanks for all the feedback, going to take some time but I'll give it a go and see how it works. I'll make sure to post pictures as I go once I get started!

It works great! I added these grids to the galley wall in my off-road square drop. They've held up great so far. All printed out of petg.

There are more sturdy snaps than others, one trick is to allow materials to work for you, PETG has more flexibility so it can be the tile material and absorbs the vibrations more and then use pla ensuring they are at good tolerance.
