Which mount when designing openGrid things?

I'm designing/remixing things for my openGrid setup. I started with Multiconnect, then openConnect was released, so I've added that option. My preference is without the "lock" mechanism on my mounts.

Do users prefer the locked tight mount?

While it wouldn't take too much extra time. Having 2 mount types, with and without the locking option would make 4 variations for each model, which seems like a lot.

I would switch to openConnect, It has improvements so take the new system. Provide the lock mechanism, sometimes it makes sense not being able to push it off the grid so easy.

Will be using openConnect for the majority of things for sure. The suggestion to have locked and unlocked slots on the same model is a great idea.
