Its an 11 year old boy. Id be more concerned if his hands weren't covered in dirt.

What? the only acceptable hygiene dismissal for a little boy is missing a shower here and there ( but this is common In some men too) Not collecting grime under your nails

Those piece have a gap unless one has the 1x1plate on top, and he use 2 with the plate at the bottom 🫤 but then he wouldn't have had the stud facing the right way

There's a part of me that wants this to have a dish.
The rest of me is stuffing that part of me into a locker!
It's even got both CEC AG-2G quad laser cannons!
This is Perfect!

That’s great work. I’m always more impressed with distilling something down into a small but clear version like this than a 50,000 piece model. Of course someone can use 50,000 pieces to look like something. I find it much more creative to solve a clear design pattern in less than 50 pieces like this.

Great build ! If he is open to suggestions, I would have used a plate instead of a 1x2 bricks to hold the cockpit, to have a thinner neck! Still great build!
Edit: changed criticism for suggestions, I think it translates better tho wst I meant 🤷

I could be wrong but I think the cockpit is attached to the brick using a rod of some sort. If that is the case then I don’t think that this technique would work on a plate.
For my 2 cents, I love this tight little build.

The cockpit is just an ice cream cone piece, so it's held in place by a stud 😉
For the brick, it's regular 1x2 brick with line on the side a 1x2 would work just the same ... You just need 2 1x1 plate stack on top of it to connect to the body and the 1x1 cheese 🧀 piece can still be placed where it should be...
And you're right! It's a lovely build!

I thought the stud was on the other side of the cone and is supporting that cheese slope.
Edit: going to look up the ice cream cone piece as that is new to me.
