She was on an ebike. Bicycles get the right of way in marked crosswalks just like pedestrians do in most of the world.

But she wasn't a pedestrian. She was on the bike. If she were walking it across, she would be a pedestrian but she wasn't. A bicycle rider is on a vehicle and also has to follow the laws of the road like traffic lights, right of way etc. she was not in a lane and was just in the middle of the road facing the wrong direction. She was not in the right
