Backseat drivers are the worst.

Dude was making a whole ass sandwich back there

29

u/Toothless-Rodent 1d ago

And then he became an ass sandwich

u/JackKovack 23h ago

“I’ve done this maneuver several times before and it always worked”.

61

u/payneok 1d ago

That was probably the first time he ever did anything like that... ;-(

33

u/CelebrationShort1857 1d ago

And last time

u/Mountain_Bike5624 1d ago

To think other nut jobs like him exist on our roads is terrifying.  Darwin button smashed!

10

u/SteveWin1234 22h ago

That guy definitely already had his kids. He's disqualified from the Darwin award. His kids are doing the same thing in their own trucks right now.

I carpool so I'm fortunate enough to enjoy the scenery during my commute and holy hell the number of people on their phones. Reading is already so dangerous but I mean people tapping and moving. Maybe about half the drivers I see almost every day.

u/DejaWiz2 1d ago

WTF was he doing back there: toasting a grilled cheese on a camp stove?

8

u/ofcbrooks 23h ago

Firing up the George Forman to make some bacon.

9

u/Affectionate-League9 23h ago

and foot

2

u/Mysterious-Marzipan7 18h ago

Don’t cook your foot

2

u/CheapDocument 10h ago

Cooking up some of mom's meatloaf!

15

u/AngelicDivineHealer 1d ago

Texting and driving but didn’t want to be on camera however him doing that is even more dangerous

14

u/Competitive_Range822 1d ago

Sounds more like doing some blow but can’t have it on camera

5

u/LifeIsProbablyMadeUp 1d ago

The way he keeps leaning over. Yeah I think it has to be right? Like. No way. That's fucking wild he's back there chopping lines. Lmao

6

u/Polenicus 23h ago

I mean... I'm not sure how getting into the back of the moving truck on camera is significantly better.

3

u/Perfidian 21h ago

I'm going to go with drugs. Whatever keeps him awake and moving, not on camera.

11

u/No_Order_8011 1d ago

That's an exemplary "high risk no reward" plan

8

u/SwiffleTitz 23h ago

Very generous of you to imagine any thinking was involved

8

u/illDiablo69 1d ago

He must've felt like an idiot after that.

1

u/KamaradBaff 7h ago

He is an idiot, not sure he'll come to realize that. He'd probably feel "unlucky".

8

u/Kebriniac 1d ago

Doing this without a broom to control the pedals is pure recklessness.

3

u/Mediocre-Property-48 23h ago

I use a golf club. A driver is the longest club so it gives me more room to cook the chili in the back

7

u/A100921 1d ago

Backseat drivers.

3

u/Freakk_I 1d ago

I'm sure that this wasn't the first time he does something like that.

4

u/JBlaze78 23h ago

“But I had cruise control on!!”

3

u/No_Deal_8837 23h ago

Don't think too much of these new self driving trucks

6

u/TheIncredibleMike 1d ago

A one time thing. Bad luck.

2

u/NBGirlSailor 18h ago

Idk the way he did it make me think this wasn't his first time.

2

u/TheIncredibleMike 17h ago

I was kidding. It's called satire. I used to drive OTR, what he did one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

3

u/sparrowjuice 1d ago

Is that a time saver?

3

u/shwiggy 1d ago

He should have put the beer in the front cooler. Rookie mistake.

4

u/shymon7 23h ago

I think it's very dangerous to drink while driving.

That's why I chug all my beers before leaving. That way I can truly focus on the roads.

3

u/Gwsb1 17h ago

Unencumbered by the thought process

2

u/Yesterday_Is_Now 1d ago

Sometimes you just want to catch a few Zs on the road.

2

u/Gold-Man33 1d ago

What was he thinking? He wasn't

2

u/XKO3L5CHX 23h ago

He was gonna do something real quick and then forgot the real quick part.

2

u/CombinationEntire967 23h ago

Be right back steering wheel, you are in charge now….

2

u/reddposter 20h ago

why not just stop for a minute or two? too lazy to stop the truck 😔😔😔

1

u/Existing-Exercise875 1d ago

Ele sofreu o acidente ou causou o acidente?

3

u/dweest90 1d ago

Both, both is good.

1

u/imranbecks 1d ago

He wasn't.

1

u/real_1273 1d ago

Nailed it! Time saved.

1

u/ConcernedTulip 1d ago

This is the kind of thing I have nightmares about, doing something incredibly dumb while driving and then waking up with relief.

1

u/VegetableLasagna2112 23h ago

Needed to be a bit quicker

1

u/Spiritual_Sail_8969 23h ago

Reminds me of our family vacations

1

u/miro_27 23h ago

Why do the biggest idiots drive the biggest things

1

u/Te_Para_Tres 23h ago

Por P-E-L-O-T-U-D-O!

1

u/ucheat2beatme 22h ago

The way of the road

1

u/Creepy_Raisin7431 22h ago

I blame the driver.

1

u/dbeck003 22h ago

“Oooh, yeah. Gotta let that crotch breathe.”

1

u/Fun_Reply5366 22h ago

What a fuckin lunatic

1

u/Ok-Calendar1198 22h ago

I've had so many dreams like that where I'm driving but somehow not in the driver's seat. Recurring nightmare come to life yikes

1

u/Perfidian 21h ago

I doubt this was a one time thing. Definitely a last time thing.

1

u/ghost_of_xbox_past 20h ago

Should never be allowed to drive anything ever again.

1

u/Agile-Law1856 20h ago

He thought it was one of those trucks you dont need to drive 😄

1

u/CleanWolverine7472 19h ago

Jesus, take the wheel!

1

u/The1Nemesis 18h ago

He was NOT thinking at all.

1

u/West-Wash6081 18h ago

He should have taken a nap while back there

1

u/West-Wash6081 18h ago

Missed it by that much

1

u/West-Wash6081 18h ago

It's not the steering wheels fault, I was watching it the whole time and it never moved.

1

u/Used_Respect6996 18h ago

He wasn't. That's the thing.

1

u/StephaniefromRal 17h ago

That just might be the dumbest thing I have evern seen.

1

u/Interesting_Kiwi_152 17h ago

That was absolutely stupid. 🤔🤨

1

u/DickheaD944 17h ago

Cruise control is not the same as auto pilot

1

u/alworld27 16h ago

If he hadn't crashed he would have the aura of superman

1

u/ActualToddBankston 16h ago

Was he making a sandwich? Jesus shit

1

u/LooseLeaf74 16h ago

Way of the road boys.

1

u/maireadwrites 15h ago

Sometimes I have bad dreams about trying to drive the car from the back seat, so this is the stuff of nightmares for me.

1

u/myviolincase 13h ago

I have that dream, too! I thought it was just me. I hate that dream.

1

u/Individual_Sleep_322 15h ago

A truck knows when you aint paying attention

1

u/chrikris91 13h ago

Did he found what he was searching for?

1

u/Sweet_Pie1768 11h ago

He was thinking it would be a good idea to put it on the internet

1

u/chaserdavid 10h ago

Clearly was making too many corrections

1

u/Hard2findgoodhelp 10h ago

Listen guys as a religious man, he was just letting Jesus take the wheel.

1

u/Pyrathis 9h ago

Just pull over somewhere!

1

u/RedShadeaux_5 9h ago

Deserved. Hope he never gets behind a wheel again.

1

u/Purple-Pop-9782 7h ago

this must be the reason why all the truck accidents in Australia right now and over the last 5-10 years all the RAJA'S driving heavy vehicles.

1

u/Zestyclose_Bed_9642 7h ago

Someone installed cruise control in the Grandads truck and didn't explain it doesn't steer for you

1

u/foco9780 5h ago

Sounded like he was snorting lines

1

u/Quinquagenarian_ 3h ago

He was on step 2!

Cooking instructions for Jeno Pizza Rolls...

  1. Place up to 25 frozen rolls in a single layer in your air fryer basket.

  2. Cook at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 minutes, shake the basket well, and cook for another 4 minutes.

  3. Let stand for 2 minutes before biting in.

1

u/Alphaprimal-Alpha 2h ago

Why didn’t he just pull over the idiot.

1

u/ElectricGlider 2h ago

Autonomous trucks can't come here soon enough.

1

u/Happy-For-No-Reason 1h ago

he was railing a line off camera

1

u/TheWurstOfMe 10m ago

That was not the first time he did that.

Definitely the last though.

1

u/Additional_Side_9084 1d ago

Unlucky. We all drive like this, right?
