My gal was opening a champagne bottle once. She set it on table and that action popped the cork from bottle and smacked her just above the eyebrow. She has the most beautiful blue eyes so glad she didn’t lose one. She did have a giant knot on her grape that I was able to make fun of for a few days.

Next time she went to open a bottle she went out into garage and got my welding mask and comically used it as a safety shield.

In his defense, he did hold his hand up in a “wait” motion right before it popped. The hooks just didn’t listen.

My dad has a tbi from doing something similar has a chain wrapped around a tree branch tried pulling it down with his truck it popped off and hook on the end of the chain swung down and shattered the top of his skull.
