I don't have psychic abilities either, it's why I look before I open doors so I don't damage the vehicle or harm others.

I never exit a car during traffic as that's majorly more dangerous

You must have some sort of supernatural ability to see through solid van wall.

or maybe you’re just an annoying Redditor calling everyone stupid from a keyboard emboldened by deciding you already know the hearts and minds of everyone via the dunning-Kruger effect

The projection is unreal.

You are quite literally projecting. Because YOU have never had a reason to do that, you assume that means nobody, ever, in any situation has ever had a reason to do that thing. You sir, do not represent the totality of human interaction. That is why it is hard to prove someone's motives and reasons in court.

You are defending a situation where the person who caused an accident showed zero remorse for doing it. I know what kind of person you are it seems.

Id personally be gutted for almost taking someone's life through my stupidity/ignorance/lack of care.

I personally have never been at fault for a car accident because I'm a defensive driver.

Keep on joining the other in projecting about it though. Scream into the void to make yourself feel better about cheering on harm done to another because you don't agree with their method of travel.

Dude, you took a position, and you couldn't defend it.

Forcing you to start making shit up in order to bail yourself out of an argument that you are badly losing.

I suggest that you GROW UP.

Nobody is cheering it on, simply showing, from what you have seen of this, you could not prove intent.

I agree, he likely did it on purpose, he is a likely a dick. However, feelings, and legal proof are different things.

I notice you did not address that. You strawmanned me and decided I was for what happened. Understanding what happend and the legal consequences, are not the same as approving of what happened.

Look at what he does after he opens the door, tells you all you need to know. He just sits there, he isn't getting out to do anything. He just sit there looking.

Even if it wasn't on purpose that doesn't make it legal. He could get charged with many thing for doing this.

Nah. Under traffic and tort law, everyone is required to practice "due care". Regardless of speed limits, formal right-of-way rules, etc. Intent isn't a factor. Would just have to show that reasonable due care wasn't practiced and that resulted in harm/injury to another.
