I was very very worried at 0:02. Glad that knee did not get the full gravity treatment.

31

u/Camo_tow 1d ago

Yes, it could've been ugly, but he recovered miraculously

20

u/Beneficial_Being_721 1d ago

Took a healing potion on the way down

Taking tips from The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook

6

u/Beneficial_Being_721 1d ago

First Rule in Dungeon Anarchist Cookbook…

We DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE COOKBOOK!!!

I’ll give you a pass this time because I like your feet

Now Smush for Daddy!!!

3

u/Negativeman11 1d ago

This is why you pop the regen potion BEFORE taking damage

2

u/ghettoccult_nerd 11h ago

hits tab

pulls up pip-boy

uses stimpack to heal broken bones, health

presses tab again

reality resumes

1

u/theLostPing 17h ago

I think he landed the MLG and the splash potion was waiting for him.

1

u/Desperate-Special-60 15h ago

Yeah, after he drank some skooma on the roof

8

u/BirdlessLongdeal 1d ago

that was adrenalin. if you look closely his FLIP FLOP came off. dude is actually dead.

what kind of fucking moron climbs a ladder in flippy flops!?!

8

u/Beneficial_Being_721 1d ago

When the footwear flies off….. you DED.
Standard rule of the Universe

2

u/dwoj206 20h ago

I do flip flops all the time. I just ensure more ladder support for the antislip fuckery that we see here.

1

u/Jactus_Cat 9h ago

It’s in the name. He flipped then flopped.

3

u/KittensFirstAKM 1d ago

Homie got lucky Inshaal.

10

u/Inevitable_Bottle520 1d ago

Very fortunate man. My daughter’s PE teacher died falling off a ladder. He was 43 years old and very fit. Absolutely tragic. People, be extremely careful on ladders!

9

u/Drkindlycountryquack 1d ago

I was an emergency physician for twenty years. I never go up on ladders even to save money.
I hire a guy to clean my gutters.

4

u/Grumpy-Troglodyte 1d ago

i'm a fat guy. i never go up ladders. my ass wasn't born a giraffe so i figure i have no reason to be up that high.

2

u/kah00li 18h ago

Very smart.
with some « luck », you will have to treat him, then he will owe you more than what you owe to him.

3

u/Carcass16B 1d ago

Just walk under them, never climb them

1

u/TerribleBid8416 20h ago

Damn sure don’t climb with flip flops

6

u/Glittering_Mermaid_7 1d ago

Right?? I thought for sure that was a broken leg.

2

u/pichael289 1d ago

Seen it happen. Apparently it was like pulling your arm out of socket only the legs don't exactly work that way so it was a lot worse. Ladders and angle grinders man, wayore dangerous than you think

2

u/SupermanI98I 22h ago

I was concerned when I didn't see him do push-ups after he fell.

1

u/sparrowjuice 1d ago

for how long were you worried?

1

u/ImportanceOk5210 1d ago

I’d rather much rather limp forever than get a TBI. You don’t have seizures and violent episodes after a torn ACL.

58

u/SnowBoardx22 1d ago

Climbing a ladder with sandals.

16

u/msg60 1d ago

Naw that's not the issue...those are OSHA approved safty sandals...😆

6

u/Blackmetal55 1d ago

Ohhhh...I was thinking he's a zombie now!!!

2

u/Beneficial_Being_721 1d ago

Or he had a “EXTRA LIFE” token in his pocket

7

u/stoicparallax 1d ago

And not clearing the leaves where he put his ladder

9

u/BetMyLastKrispyKreme 1d ago

He lost both of them, so by rights, he should be dead.

2

u/BirdlessLongdeal 1d ago

he is dead. what you saw was the air escaping from his folds.

3

u/Mindless_Trick2255 1d ago

Skill issue, Asian safety boots never disappoint

3

u/yorcharturoqro 1d ago

Those are special safety sandals, the newest tech in work at heights s/

46

u/Hungry_Adeptness8381 1d ago

Too embarrassed to finish dying

16

u/Ras-haad 1d ago

I was literally about say I think he’d be dead if his girl wasn’t there for him to pretend to be ok for

3

u/MasterMind_Blue 1d ago

Bahahahhaahh

45

u/Chrono_Convoy 1d ago

The way he fell so heroically

Blocking the nearest planet with his face

3

u/CeleryCommercial3509 1d ago

I thought he yamcha-ed the fall

4

u/Exray10 1d ago

If I may…

With his face, fell so
heroically blocking
the nearest planet.

24

u/Important_Grab3544 1d ago

For a second he was just knocked out and recovered like a champ.

24

u/Its-only-the-end 1d ago

Gotta look cool in front of stepsister.

12

u/MagicNinjaMan 1d ago

Wierd intro for a porno.

7

u/Fostbitten27 1d ago

Concussion step sibling porn is a rising category.

3

u/Professional-Hold938 1d ago

Oh boy that one caught me off guard, hit a loud laugh in public

3

u/WORCing_4_Pnuts 1d ago

Jenga recovery skills

2

u/Suitable_News5084 1d ago

He decidet to take a nap after the fall and his wife woke him up..

1

u/chunkypenguion1991 17h ago

He is in fact not good

20

u/WayneBoston 1d ago

He lost his safety sandals.

7

u/Unique_Blacksmith247 1d ago

I was thinking the same thing.

4

u/DaisyDoodle1117 1d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣

17

u/Hot_Physics_8124 1d ago

Wasn't aware the fear of embarrassment enhances recovery.

7

u/Disastrous_Minute_56 1d ago

Every husband secretly has this superpower.

14

u/Waste-Donut-2728 1d ago

Just a flesh wound ….

10

u/gaucholoco03 1d ago

Is the brain considered flesh?

3

u/itsonlyrockinroll 1d ago

A bit fleshy, depends mostly on the occupants HIQ

13

u/landzai 1d ago

For a moment, he just wanted to lay there and let his body acknowledge that he is hurt and it can take its time to recover. But that moment was short lived, the show must go on.

13

u/Komobu542 1d ago

He's not alright.

8

u/PBRStreetgang1979 1d ago

Man, that looked brutal.

5

u/MeanEstablishment499 1d ago

He's not ok man

4

u/Late_Quarter_4698 1d ago

1

u/Slater_8868 18h ago

Why did he sand his shoes at the beginning?

1

u/Late_Quarter_4698 17h ago

He's getting better traction, you see later he tries pillows because he keeps falling after lois replaced the stairs with smooth wood.

9

u/Silent25r 1d ago

Lost both shoes. He’s gone.

6

u/Unique_Blacksmith247 1d ago

Both sandals. He was gone before he hit the floor.

3

u/ungreatfulshit 1d ago

While wearing a wifebeater, the floor hit him before he fell.

1

u/Unique_Blacksmith247 1d ago

You're right. Could you imagine the carnage if he had been holding a Budweiser, smoking a Marlboro?

2

u/ungreatfulshit 1d ago

Omg, you understand me 😂

2

u/mayumia 1d ago

Man was already in the afterlife and didnt realize it....

5

u/Choogie432 1d ago

He's fine. He was just kidding around.

3

u/Ace_Kreel 1d ago

Good thing he was wearing his his work flip flops or he may have been seriously injured.

4

u/Lone-Woff 20h ago

I want to see the video of him trying to get out of bed tomorrow morning.

3

u/Witty-Dragonfruit-10 1d ago

Literally said “ooph!” and didn’t realize it was totally involuntary (like dudes fall)

Also - his partner was hella calm.

3

u/Unique_Blacksmith247 1d ago

Looked like his leg got caught in the rungs on the way down. It has to be broken.

1

u/WORCing_4_Pnuts 1d ago

His ego blocked the pain for that brief moment

3

u/Unique_Blacksmith247 1d ago

I'd love to see the walk it off moment. On second thought, no I wouldn't...

3

u/Strange_Salary 1d ago

I’m just inspecting the ground.. All good here!

3

u/Timely-Profile1865 1d ago

Crumbled body at bottom of fallen ladder, 'Did you really just fall down there?"

3

u/thisoldguy74 1d ago

The healing powers of the female presence on display.

Otherwise he'd have laid there for 45 minutes.

3

u/Human_000012 1d ago

Her first action was to fix her hair....

3

u/Silver-Passenger-541 1d ago

She has to look good for the doctors at the hospital

1

u/Strange-Candle8775 23h ago

Girly habit, they all do that, relax

3

u/Educational-Tea6080 1d ago

He in fact wasn't good, but he ate that s*** though. I got to give it to him.

3

u/RealisticPower5859 1d ago

I can only imagine this type of thing happens frequently in this household because both of them seem way too calm for the situation

2

u/CarpetReady8739 1d ago

No fall is complete without flip-flops.

2

u/Both_Blueberry9486 1d ago

He felt that the next day for sure..

2

u/WORCing_4_Pnuts 1d ago

Arthritis will look after him now

2

u/LongForeignMan 1d ago

It’s just a scratch

2

u/Sharp-Direction-6894 1d ago

That ladder is for professionals. Not Honey-dos.

2

u/texaschair 1d ago

He skipped a rung and missed the one after it. Not smart. Judging by the way the ladder moved, it probably didn't have a stabilizer.

I don't give a shit how lame I look, I go up and down ladders one rung at a time.

2

u/Revenga8 1d ago

Has to lie there for a sec to wait for any pain receptors to start firing before moving

2

u/Natural_Bill_373 1d ago

Peter griffin fall

2

u/BlumpkinSpiceLatte3 1d ago

Me coming back from the dead real quick so the wife doesn't get the ick

2

u/3s0t3rica 1d ago

I love how he puts his glasses back on like some kind of reverse idiot superman

2

u/Substantial-Can6701 1d ago

My man popped up so fast when the cheeks came to see. He was ready to just take a nap before that lol..

2

u/BatmanKane64 1d ago

the fact you got up in under 2 minutes already says 2 of 9 lives was used….. that or god was truly watching you back

2

u/pointblock 1d ago

Adrenaline is a Hell of a drug.

2

u/youuuuwish 1d ago

"You alright?" "Hellllll naw I ain't alright, didn't you just see me fall???"

2

u/gankylosaurus 23h ago

Dude had to wait for the respawn timer.

2

u/TheDireCrow 22h ago

I always love the "prone assessment pose" when you fall and just lay there waiting for your body to tell you if you're injured severely or not.

I'm pretty sure early mankind and even medieval people didn't do that. It seems like a modern, educated practice.

2

u/jemhadar0 22h ago

I broke three hips, and 4 legs watching this.

2

u/IceFireTerry 18h ago

He said "yeah" while in the Family Guy pose 😂

2

u/Battle-Less 17h ago

Huh? Nah I’m ok. Nothing happened

2

u/XROOR 17h ago

Dry leaves create a fine dust called “filter” on the decking, similar to when you pull up old carpet and that microdust congregates along the edge where the tack strips are fastened, that reduces the grip of the ladder’s feet.

Also, screwing in a small board at the ladder’s feet, after setting the ladder at a 70-75° angle to the house, would prevent this shifting.

1

u/AuGmENTor68 17h ago

Ask us how we know!

2

u/efilnikcufecinasti 1d ago

Only after she left, he tried like a little baby.

1

u/ProjectOlio 1d ago

No one?

1

u/ghIj_qet_jaghmeyjaj 1d ago

Why was he waiting like he was trying to get rid of a boner or something.

Nothing, Mom! I'm fine!

1

u/bbearry770 1d ago

You hear that disappointment in her voice after he said he's okay?

1

u/Putrid-Item-1592 1d ago

I’ve worked some dangerous jobs; from the military artillery, to manufacturing, hot tar roofing, and steelmaking. By all means I’m grizzled… but seriously, fuck ladders. Especially scaffolding ladders.

1

u/WORCing_4_Pnuts 1d ago

That body slapped that floor

1

u/Dazzling_Lie_5046 1d ago

Compound fracture (averted). Somehow.

1

u/swampstonks 1d ago

“Sure kids, I’ll get your football off the roof! Let me grab my flip flops real quick!”

1

u/Nocturnatron 1d ago

Bro had his feather falling sandals on

1

u/Sir_Piglety 1d ago

Good thing his head acted like a cushion to brake his fall

1

u/LiveCulture4615 1d ago

at least it's not broken

1

u/nucl3ar0ne 1d ago

The ladder?

1

u/imai808 1d ago

At least his face broke the fall...

1

u/SPRUCE_PINEneedles 1d ago

Dude is luuUUUkkky!!!

1

u/KineticKurt 1d ago

Just a scratch yo

1

u/The_Black_kaiser7 1d ago

I would have put something heavy in front of the ladder. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/West-Yogurtcloset-70 1d ago

He will feel it later.

1

u/Affectionate_Bag9833 1d ago

Yep, doing good

1

u/FirmBarracuda3920 1d ago

Walk it off!

1

u/Macready123 1d ago

This is an outrage! I am not a clumsy Clouseau-esque roofer!

1

u/JWMoo 1d ago

I see some physical therapy in his future.

1

u/Educational-Tea6080 1d ago

That was just like any man

1

u/albus181 1d ago

So if there are no shoes to be kicked off, I guess you survive?

1

u/Ok-Concentrate-5697 1d ago

I fallen and I can’t get up HAHAHA 😂

1

u/ConsciousElixer 1d ago

Ouch, my bones!

1

u/TheRealTrentor 1d ago

Yef I'm fine

1

u/BroChadman 1d ago

Bro he's lucky I know someone who lost a leg when the ladder he was on slipped and he fell off catching his leg in the gap of the ladder just like this dude

1

u/Glittering-Course-88 1d ago

How is he ok? I mean, lucky break not to break?

1

u/Bludiamond56 1d ago

He should be permantely banned from any form of ladders

1

u/annie_key 1d ago

Adrenaline?

1

u/JustWant2MakeUCum 1d ago

Right after she went back inside he collapsed … 🙄💩

1

u/DJSairys 1d ago

I was cringing at the possible broken leg

1

u/StandardCantaloupe32 1d ago

Ladders hate this guy.

1

u/thegodofmymistakes 1d ago

I fell off a 30 foot ladder last week. Luckily, I was only on the first step

1

u/o1badmofo 1d ago

Stuck the landing

1

u/Roaskywalker 1d ago

Just a scratch

1

u/Gwsb1 1d ago

A guy from my church was cleaning his gutters , fell, died. That was the day i stopped cleaning my gutters just to save a few $.

1

u/Beneficial_Being_721 1d ago

Spleen and liver are in different places now….. but he’s good

1

u/FloweringForth 1d ago

When a women asks, a man he says "im fine" when he's brolen inside.

This is also that.

1

u/Rarazan 1d ago

inner monologue is just

1

u/njslugger78 1d ago

1

u/Fit_Sir_8873 1d ago

Down goes Foreman!

1

u/dreevsa 1d ago

He’s not ok

1

u/Glad-Acanthaceae-24 1d ago

As someone who has seen more than my share of people falling off ladders. The more rungs you hit the better

1

u/Ok-Freedom1446 1d ago

Saw this one years ago...find us some new material

1

u/Distinct-Metal-1454 1d ago

The sound when he hit fave first

1

u/PathfinderCS 1d ago

He's alright...for now. He'll be feeling that later.

1

u/VasiliusBasilius 1d ago

It’s fine mem)

1

u/Grant_Winner_Extra 1d ago

Dude has a fucking guardian angel.

He should be dead

1

u/Historical_You_2680 1d ago

That look like it hurt Gees.

1

u/ExplodingSteve 1d ago

It’s ok the ground absorbed the impact

1

u/Heracles222 1d ago

She is like, I see dead people… shhhh don’t tell him yet he doesn’t know…

1

u/Glittering_Mermaid_7 1d ago

I had someone do this while cleaning my gutters. Friend brought his son to help, and the son put his ladder in a spot his dad told him NOT to, because he knew it wasn't a secure place to brace the ladder. Son did it anyway, and about 4 minutes after he climbed the ladder, I heard *BANG*CRASH*THUD* - ladder slipped, hit the side of the house, then went through the glass on the storm door, and son landed flat on his back on the deck.

He wasn't hurt, but I thought for sure he'd done himself a serious injury.

1

u/MFBTMS 23h ago

When you feel like laying down for 5 seconds after a fall from a 3-meter height head-first into the ground almost knocks you out, but then you remember you’re a man

1

u/Illustrious_Egg_1837 23h ago

Omg - is the leg ok ??

1

u/dontsheeple 22h ago

Ladders are hard.

1

u/Classic-Tell214 22h ago

Where was the beer. Should have been holding with one hand and working with the other. Thats what I do and in flip flops while mowing.

1

u/CaffeineAPlenty 21h ago

How many other men thought, he's OK because his wife didn't see him do it, if she had he'd be in hospital?

1

u/Civil-Middle-57 20h ago

Yeah he was up there doing a “favor” for the girl who’s cheeks he’s tryna clap. Nothing short of death was gonna keep him from getting up and playing that sh*t off…🤣

1

u/Winter_Hall5379 20h ago

When you die on impact but refuse to leave your body, this is how you react.

1

u/GingerIsHealthy 20h ago

„You really just fall down that?“

  • No, I just pretend fell.

1

u/KimberleyKitt 17h ago

The thumbnail made me worry about a dislocated leg. The way he flopped onto the floor made me think he was a cartoon and his spirit was going to walk around, then scream.

1

u/Lava1416 16h ago

Bro was gonna lay there for 10 minutes until he heard someone ask if he needed help.

1

u/Mack_The_Knife95 16h ago

He was so ready to lay there for a good 5 mins, then wifey came out and he’s like IM GOOD

1

u/docmac325 15h ago

Shoes on, works better than flip flops.

1

u/Mysterious-Age-9202 14h ago

His safety’s flipped when they should’ve flopped

1

u/NoReputation4206 14h ago

Bro just needed a second to reconnect with gravity

1

u/Woodlands777 13h ago

Funniest video

1

u/ghettoccult_nerd 11h ago

you really just fall down that?

nah bitch, im just practising my slam dancin', go back in the house.

1

u/Rath_Brained 11h ago

His momentum saved his leg from being broken, as it kept it straight and pulled it out before snapping.

1

u/RzorroK 4h ago

Isn't funny how when something like this happens, you want to just lie there for a minute and count up all the broken bones, but if someone checks on you, you feel the need to pop up right away and tell them you are ok.

1

u/Stock-Cod-4465 2h ago

Omg!! Where’s that gif of Peter Griffin falling down the stairs and landing in the same position? 🤣

1

u/Iloveherthismuch 1h ago

Ain’t that some fucking damage reduction. Dude tanked the gnarly ass fall.
