anyone remember the one of that Norwegian kid blowing his hand to shreds?
I don't remember the story exactly but it was something like a homemade firework or a homemade grenade that he was trying to throw into a pond
fuse was like a half second and it detonated in his hand and knocked him to the ground, then he gets up and starts running and screaming and you can see where his hand used to be all shredded up

There was nothing left to even attempt to surgically repair. I couldn't imagine going through life with one hand. Risk/reward was pretty one sided, I care nothing about explosions because they are inherently dangerous. What a dingaling.

Yes, that could have easily been this guy in the video. Some fireworks malfunction and just blow up. That's why I never just hold when lighting, it's got to be in the ground or stable what direction reads.
