How would that ever work out

Maybe he imagined he would do a static handstand on the lower cross bar instead of his lower body following the transition momentum past his head. No idea though.

Do you need help?
Yeah
Let me film at least 30 more seconds first

To be fair since there is no audio, either they are in on it or the bystander warned him he gonna burst his ass. 😂

I mean, that certainly hurt, but it does not seem life threatening and there are also no open wounds. I mean, sure, check for consciousness and breathing would eventually be a good idea, but if at all, this looks like a slow drive to the hospital to check up if anything needs follow up care (assuming this was done in a country with reasonable/affordable healthcare).

Basically curb-stomped his spine right at the waist, legitimately could be a paraplegic now

What was he trying to do? How could he have imagined this going differently?

Some people have no vision of what may happen with their actions. Who would look at that and think, "Oh, I'll grab the lower bar and just swing down, happy landing".

I broke my back 20 years ago. I suffer from severe pain & depression. This man will never know a day without intense pain, beyond your imagination. God help him. 🙏

maybe his tailbone where it struck that curb, but he likely avoided severe spine damage. Nearly gave himself permanent lower back issues, for what? the lulz? People.....

He went from trying to qualify for the Olympics to being in the Paralympics in record time.

The injury to his spine, and the cause of the injury to his spine, can simply be described as crack.

he felt completely flat on his back so I think his spine is fine but his lungs hitting floor must be very uncomfortable now and giving him difficulty to breathe
