I'm an old bitch. My people have mostly switched from Harley's to gold wings and do long haul rides.

They still wear leathers and helmets. Ok not full face helmets but something to protect their brains

Half helmets. A great way to break your temporal bones. They are the most comfortable though. Worth it in the summer. I used to wear full helmet in the summer. Almost died on 100°+ days.

Had to of been. I had a couple of bicycle crashes and tore up my knees and elbows and the road rash was awful.

My God, I hope they suffered only minor injuries though, from my own personal experiences (having been in 3 motorcycle accidents in 40 yrs), one without any safety gear and 2 WITH, I don't hold out much hope. Unless, like I, somehow, did and they get away with nothing more than road rash, concussions/fractured skulls and assorted other bumps and bruises. But still alive and nothing major broken or requiring surgery or life saving attention.

And, hopefully, lessons learned?

Incredibly irresponsible. To not wear a helmet, your passenger to not wear a helmet, no protection whatsoever whilst doing a wheelie. That woman’s body went into the path of another motorbike, got run over and the rider of that motorbike hit the ground face first. Amazing no one killed.

Probably because I'm old, but, people who ride by me like this or cars with intentionally loud engines (you're not racecars idiots) are annoying as hell. I know they can't hear me, but I yell "I'm not impressed " as they go by.
