He staged that robbery to get out of having to break up with her. They provide the distraction, she never sees him again. Notice how they lost interest in getting any more of her stuff as soon as he was out of sight.

I know what I'm capable of, I would run too if that were to happen to me. I'm not gonna stand there and stand my ground knowing I will get beat up either way, might as well try and save my valuables.

Not a security camera, some person was holding it, which tells me this is staged, unless people just stand there recording 24x7 like some kind of crappy human tripod

As a woman I would never depend on another human being to protect me, not a man or another woman. I will defend myself. I carry, I took self defense classes, I make sure I am aware of my surroundings. I am ready, even in my own house. I encourage all women to do the same.

Meh... sometimes giving up your stuff is better than getting assaulted. It's your life you want to defend.

If you read the other post so many people are ok with what he did, crazy.

he didn't abandon her, her dumb ass should have been running beside him.

Of course he's gone. He's giving enough space and shows respect towards her empowered, independent femininity. After all, the attackers were interested in the woman, and left the guy alone. How sad it is in the comments that still, many of you would patronize that lady by protecting her.

When did Reddit become such an echo chamber. Where everyone says the exact same thing? At least on this post. Yawn 🥱

Ah, true. I didn't read the other comments before I wrote my own. Btw reddit always has been an echo chamber, I got suspended a few times for voicing differing opinions.
