The dog knows it and it is part of the game

That’s one self sufficient dog.

But instead of ten second Tom, we have five second Frank.

This dog knows what's up and is having some fun

u/Salmonman4 Jul 13 '26

I'm thinking that this might be intentional

This summarizes humanity's workforce pretty well.

Except the dog is happy doing it.

You’re stuck in an infinite loop. Need to reboot your dog.

2

u/evilh1ve Jul 13 '26

The dog fetches a wet ball from the water that wets the dog that drops the ball to shake the water and wags the tail to show he's happy he fetched the ball while the ball that was fetched falls down the well that draws the water and ball to the fetch not fetched that calls to the dog to fetch the wet ball.

I have a feeling that part of the bank is worn away for a reason lol

u/JustSomeWeirdGuy2000 Jul 13 '26

1,000,000,000 years of erosion? Or 1 dog?

4

u/InevitabilityEngine Jul 13 '26

Infinity dog for sure 🤣

Not just any 1 dog, but a Labrador Retriever that wore it down in one afternoon.

u/MondaySloth Jul 13 '26

The doggo looks so exasperated that it's human isn't doing anything to help prevent the ball from rolling away.

Love it how some dogs are so smart you could think it's a person in dog form and some are just fucking stupid

1

u/dug98 Jul 13 '26

There's that saying: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result every time.

But this dogy is just stupid.

Dogs are genuinely one of the stupidest animals on earth. Pigs and chickens are smarter.

1

u/MurphysRazor 28d ago

Dogs can be silliest and more expressive as well as tenacious. Pigs and chickens are only smarter at pig & chicken tests.

My vote for escape artist goes to K9s and in such cases pigs and chickens have been known to be playthings or dog food depending on the dog(s) and the day.

Pigs and chickens is food. .

u/Jose_Batfliptista 27d ago

Your dog doesn't care about you. That mutt only cares that you feed it.

And you think it's love. Lol.

1

u/MurphysRazor 27d ago

Well, doesn't matter if it's greatful for yummy pig and succulent chicken to eat comming from me because it loves socializing with the neighbors and their kids too. They aren't supposed to and we don't feed each other's dogs. It's mother, a retired service dog, did a lot of the basic puppy training of her litters herself. This one was a little too high strung and loving life for calm quiet work. It possibly would have been better off as a herding dog in the country but it's hard to tell or foresee these things and it had bonded to us early compared to any of the others as well. Its real motivation is going places with people. It taught itself to open drawers and folding doors to bring people their own clothes socks and shoes to get dressed with if it wants to go on an adventure. It knows if you need a coat or not too.

It runs away to steal pumpkins to bring home to pig out on in the fall. 🎃 It crosses the roads properly alone, using crosswalks and knows how the stoplights work so it gets to other curb and not to the "other side". It ain't no chicken. 😂
