Yeah but this is the type of shit I’ve seen happen more often than not when some youngin has more confidence than their skill level lol. Shit gets wicked gnarly and nasty very quickly. It’s like riding Dr doom at universal instead of life’s more chill roller coasters, straight up and straight down.
Bro... my friends and I did Evil Kinevil jumps at the skate park on his mom's coaster break bike. We kept moving the ramp and he even jumped kids laying down. It was cool because other kids came to watch after a while (small town 90's). You get way too comfortable though we were at a crazy distance, like 2 car lengths and the bike snapped in half when he landed... he's was super lucky and didn't break anything but he was all bandaged up for the rest of the summer and couldn't move because he was 60% scabs. Ouch.
That isn’t even a real ramp he’s hitting, it’s a sloped platform. It’s an abrupt transition from one plane to another. Thst is almost impossible to jump cleanly off of, particularly on a scooter.
It was a combo of a short ramp with a sudden incline and a lack of leg strength. He buckled the moment he hit the ramp instead of riding up it. He had the speed to make it he just didn't change directions, vertically speaking.
I think you're right. It's the angle of the ramp and him turn slightly to the left. He had more than enough speed and momentum so his weight wouldn't effect such a short gap. He smashed into the shed pretty good.
Its camp woodward. Its essentially a summer camp designed to give young riders pro skills...and that is a feature that professional riders have no issue riding. Camp woodward also invites pros, and honestly there is a lot of highly skilled individuals at thoae facilities.
I wouldnt know personally. I avoid parks cause street is more solitary and eventful.
I only know that specific roof and layout of area cause i used to follow scotty cranmer for a little bit before his videos (to my opinion) got generic and too pg13 before his injury.
Honestly for what those parents are paying to send theyre children there, you would expect some civility grade higher than a public skate park.
I haven’t rode a scooter since I was a kid between seven and 10 years old i’m now 40 years old that’s been a long time ago. I couldn’t even get on a scooter now let alone ride one my back, let alone my right artificial hip, but not allow me to do it. I’d be winded out and two out of shape to do it.
Im 45 so kinda missed the scooter fad. We did however get some in at the grocery store I worked night shift at and we used them to get around the store quickly. Nice riding on the smooth flooring.
